lol, i have another video driving out of this spot showing the landscape. took me a while to wonder out of town though. then had to find my way back lol. looks like i wont get metered until the show on the 12th. ill report numbers after that.

i made some little videos for you guys today. hope you all like them cause it took a lot of driving around a place i dont know to find the spot, then a long ass time to upload them with my shitty internet connection lol. i didnt want to take any chances on blowing anything before i get to take this to a show so the volume was turned down a little in these vids. ya... finger over the mic... i fail. outside flex

yep, 1ohm will triple your power. in a perfect world, thats a 6db increase. i would expect it to get to 146-147. damplifier will help a lot. some car extra weather stripping may help, any auto parts store should have some. then use some foam tape (foam weather stripping) on the back of the license plate and the frame. deanen that rear deck while your at it. i would take out the rear speakers and let the sound though. should help a lot. -
i think kasey "thehoe92" had the TCs and they blew up on him in a week or something stupid. might want to check with him.

thank you for taking the time to do one of these. it is very interesting. i really like how you can see each subs imp rise and peak frequency. im eager to see what they all do on the same power through the stages and where each subs power limits will be. keep up the good work.

lol no man, its a good score. he beat me and alpine by a lot. we were both a little pissed about it though lol. im waiting for my JBL MS-8 to get here. should bring me up to an 8 0 but of course... no meca here.

its up to you. could start with subs LP 8 0. midbass 8 0-300. midrange 300-4000. tweeters 4000+. then just play with it from there and find what you like.

its up to you. i would guess you dont want to spend a lot so just look at some basic crossovers. could probably find some for $50-70 easy enough.

how high does that crossover go? you will want anywhere from 200-500hz. then you dont want them to play 30hz so you also need a HPF if your HU doesnt have them. i use an active crossover for the lowpass and the amp for highpass.

my crescendo mids are doing very well with midbass. remember if you just want these to play midbass, you need a crossover. otherwise they will play everything, not just midbass.

im not sure i can hear clipping in subs but i sure can hear it on anything over 200hz. i even have a video you can hear it in.

why not get an active crossover? tweeters really dont need much power at all. mine are getting 1/3 the power my mids are.

the only reason its doing it without the subs is because with the subs, you couldnt hear it. the subs arnt actually changing anything. those speakers are not made for bass and im sure they are getting a full range signal. i dont think your JVC will have a HPF. im guessing your running them off the HU power. i think this would be a good time for the bass blockers. they would be the cheapest answer for you.

i wasnt being an ass. i have you a beer for gods sake. i just dont know you well enough to drink it with you: well let me add this to your theory. putting resin inside the box raises tuning, if only slightly. and 45*s dont always help. some times you are louder without them. what it all means for tuning? i havnt a clue beyond the airspace factor.
