  1. Surprised no one has jumped on this. Free bump for a nice deck and that's coming from a Kenwood guy. Someone jump on this and get yourself a nice upgrade.
  2. Nice progress, still can't wait to see it finished with the trim panels and everything. It even looks really clean now with the wiring and paint inside the box.
  3. When in the vehicle you'll most likely be in the front, so you want your sound stage to be in the front as well. Some people like to run a rear sound stage either for fill or for passengers as well. Others prefer to only run a front sound stage with no rear fill. The later option is more commonly found in sq cars as a opposed to most daily driver and street cars which typically run a rear fill.
  4. Run both up front and if you want to run rear fill pick up some coax's for the rear.
  5. It's going to be hard as hell to cram an 18 in your trunk. If you can make it fit, it's going to take your whole trunk and you'll have to build it in the trunk cause you'll never get it in and out.
  6. It's a mono block and can't be bridged. The sub you linked is a dual 2ohm so you can wire it to the amp for a 1ohm load however. Bridging an amp is when you have 2 or more channels and your linking 2 channels together to be a single channel. Example: you have a front right and left output, but only use the positive from say the left and negative from the right. So that your using both the left and right channels as a single channel. What you want to do with this sub and amp combo is done by wiring the coils to the amp in parallel. Follow the image above and connect the amps positive to the positive of the sub and then to the other coils positive. Do the same for the negative. Wire the amp to one coil and then to the other coil. Since its a mono amp and only has one output channel this wouldn't be bridging. You'll still get the max output of the amp which is what you were trying to do.
  7. So I want a final box of 4^ft? I have two, and are there like tutorials on how to use the calculator or something ? Yeah my bad, I did it for one, so your right since you have 2. What type of vehicle is it going in. If you have the dimensions you can fit in your vehicle post them and I'll try doing something for you really quick.
  8. Kicker website says between 1.75-2.25 cubes, so probably around 2^ft at about 35hz should work for you, download torres calculator and play around with it till you find something around there that you can fit, or post your max dimensions and I'm sure you'll get a few responses.
  9. I like where you put the volt meter. Car looks sick as well. Will be following this one.
  10. I'd go with black, it'll hide some dirt better, but others will show easier on it, but I'd take it over the other choices for sure. Curious why your going with bed liner of carpet though, I see some benefits but it also narrows down where to hide wiring and such as well.
  11. If no one has done anything by tomorrow when I'm home I'll whip something up for you. If you get your measurements of your trunk that you can use that will help, if you have a tuning frequency preference and from your sig I assume your running 2 DC Audio XL 10's?
  12. Typical Led doesn't have a remote. But hooking the positive to a 12volt switched wire is recommended, otherwise the LED's stay on all the time. if you have a relay, run the positive from that. I dunno if its recommended or not but the 2 that are on my sub are wired to the Remote and the ground on my sub amp. I haven't had any problems with the front one, but have blown 2 on the back of the magnet cover on the inside the box.
  13. Perhaps double check all your grounds as well since you'll already be checking the batt's and alt wiring too.
  14. I'd check the remote wire for sure, sounds like it's shorting somewhere. I did the same thing kind of once, had it all working then when I put the interior back together I pinched the remote and grounded it out and the amp wouldn't turn on. So check that first.
  15. Essay Ponta Ft. Gudda Gudda - Jiggle Box Sounds like a slowed remix though. It's in the comments that he got it from LMProductions09.
  16. 1st: DJ Khaled - I'm So Hood Remix(Rick Ross Verse) 2nd: Playaz Circle Ft. Lil Wayne - Duffle Bag Boy
  17. I checked AAS as well and noticed the 2 Razzi kits right away. If your set on making something, do like TeamHT suggested and pick up some spare parts(craigslist, junkyard, ect.) and start from those, that way if you screw up or something you'll have your stock ones still.
  18. Nice flex, Looks like its loud. Anyone have the name of the song used ?
  19. Would still have to account for the extra port wall, as the calculator is going to see it as one port with one wall inside the box. With the numbers you gave, do you need 2 ports or are you willing to use 1? Areo port(s) instead of slot ports? I'm sure we can come up with something that works.
  20. I've seen a single 10 break 140's, first was a Phoenix Gold Xenon 10D2(as in my sig), the other was a MTX 9500. Both were in the trunk of a Cavalier and on a TL.
