what knd of kit is it? flip kit in rear? i did a 5/6 drop on my 98 1500... all went well... till i went to drive it, i had a whole 1" of suspension travel in the rear and was CONSTANTLY bottoming out, in the front my tires hit the top of the fender ( gunna put smaller tires on front) i put air shocks on the rear and fixed the bottoming out problem though when you do the front, if its lowering springs and drop spindls, make sure you read up on them first.. youll have a little extra work to do so you can properly get it alighed again

Yes 41hz sounds high but it will peak around low 30s , like i said im tuned to 41hz right now and can still play down to high 20s no problem, these trucks like the lows, and subs forward port up

in my experiances with these extd cab chevys, they LOVE the lows.. i was tuned to 38 and was peaking around 28. when i was tuned to 34 i was peaking in the low/mid 20s, i am now tuned to 41hz and can play down to 29hz no problem. Derrick, his box is really.. messed up you could say, the port is 5" wide x 18" deep then when it bends bends ( L port) its 3 1/2" wide 21" long he had a shop build it for him, before he fixed his port the port opening was 5"x17 1/2" but had like.. an oval over lapping port opening becasue the shop said " it throws more air around"

Yes, diffent gass WILL affect it, im in canada and when i go into US and get US gas, my truck runs like shit and bad gasmilage but, its also cheaper then canadian gas. cheak plugs, i bet the electrode on them is all gone unlesd youve changed them previosly fuel filter wont hurt gas milage, will just run like shit from not enough fuel pu a cold air intake and an exhaust on, will get batter gas milage and some performance, its about making your engine breath better
