  1. yay for PA audio lol. Im in philly ... just thought id mention. Also high-end is probably the best shop in philly. They handle from CRXs to bentleys. (hence high end lmao)
  2. DAMN they look big as fuck. maybe ill have to scrap the 3500s for two of these lol.
  3. ill definitely be ordering 2 d3100s either this friday or the next. but my question is will two d3100s and a red top under the hood aaaaand a HO alt.... will that be enough for two saz3500s at 1 or .5 ohm each
  4. id definitely say stay away.... took my friend 3 months to get a refund since purchase ... they gave him the run around
  5. my first setup was all alpine .... everything excep wiring. and everybody that got in my car was amazed. and i shut a few guys down. (2 12" type rs on the mrp 1000 and some type s coaxials on a mrp 650 i think it was. it got the job done. right now im still running the type s coaxials but now on a dc 120.4 my front left speaker blew ... but thats ok. once i wrap these door pods ill have 1 set of components of RFt165s in each door. All in all. I like alpine. but there can be better stuff had for a little more money. Love the headunits too. Ive had 2 so far ... my gf likes em so much that i just ordered her the same one as i have.
  6. i had that problem. turned out to be my grounds bolt wasnt tight anymore. my ground was just laying their for the most part.
  7. 02 sedan. and i also have a problem since ive switched my rims from stock 15s to 18s ... the back right fender is "bent in" more then the left side ... so when theirs more weight in the car the back right rubs haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard. the left does too but not as much. somebody suggested a fender roll?
  8. I plan to wall my accord ... so thats obviously gonna be some major weight ... what do i need to keep my back end from sagging? i also would like to drop the front too.
  9. Doors are looking good. Next time i do some pods ill definitely have some "biscuits on standby. I was getting impatient ... so i just used the speaker grills ... which left me with alot to sand because they didnt fill the whole gap between the ring of the grill and the outter ring on the MDF ring. Biscuits ftw lol. But i dont get how you held the tweeter buscuits in? were they screwed into the base MDF under it?
  10. do they come with a SA dustcap or a blank one like in the pics?
  11. Im also interested in getting one. Are these still available?
  12. Yea. Use smaller pieces of mat. dont try and go over the corner directly. use 3.4 strips that somewhat overlap around the edge...
  13. thats what i did with my old setup but im sure somebody will say get a relay
  14. Just hit me up if you have some. Not really looking for any certin brand right now
  15. well when glassing today i was doing 8 ounce batches and using 1/4 oz of MEKP so yea ... somethings wrong ... and theres a chart on how much MEKP to use ... its stickied at the top of this section
  16. i was actually just cutting some speaker rings with a router .... in a small ass 1 car garage ... with the car in there lmao. omfg. i cut one ring and i was like fuck this. went to HD and bought some ear plugs. That shit is sooooooo high pitched ... especially if you run it fast. And yea ... i already have a dust mask
  17. just saw this in another thread in a little over a year ago. thought it was interesting i guess. but i actually like the other tire size more. either way .... sick. and yea what tire shine is that.
  18. i have no idea. thats why im asking you guys. it will be a wall. i want to have a multiple door speaker setup. and coaxials... i wanna hear what you guys have to say though. whats good.
  19. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18207_...te+P1652-S.html thoughts on these? im trying to do 4 sets in the doors. @ 2ohms the amp can do 200 a channel and at 4 ohms it can do 120. so im assuming i can do 1 set per channel? any suggestions?
  20. ok ok ok. sometimes i forget to use the search button. but ok. i see what you guys are saying. i plan on walling my accord so would components still be that ... noticeably different? ive got alot of money to spend in the near future. and if i can save 50 dollars or so per set of speakers ...id be very happy. i was looking at cake79(his youtube account ... i forget his name on here) build with the 6 DD 15s. he used 6x9s on his doors and they seemed pretty nice. Do you guys have any suggestions? as far as coaxials?
  21. What are the pros/cons? right now im looking for 4 sets of speakers to go into my front doors. preferably 6.5s and around 100 RMS costing about 100-150 each set. But i have no idea where to start looking. Help lol? and how would i go about wiring 4 sets of 4 ohm speakers to 2 ohms?
  22. im listening to it first right now. Its sounding pretty good even though im on headphones
  23. I love the idea. I always say that it would be sick to have people locally to turn to. I know i cant go to most shops in philly for help/tools. a regional thread would be sick. It seems like most of the big audio shows are in Cali or in the south. so to have something for the east/northeast would be sick. push the idea!
