  3. i've heard good things about bowler transmissions, you need to call for the price. this will be a direct swap. http://bowlertransmissions.com/default.aspx?mpid=36 a couple others i've read good things about these guys as well http://www.finishlinetrans.com/transmissio...ormance4L60.htm http://www.aceracingtrans.com/sitebuilder/...ctive-50281.png
  4. the cardinals are driving again. i think Akers missed field goal and extra point will haunt the eagles.
  5. totally agree. they came out and set the tempo so far, unless the eagles pull their heads out of the their asses its going to be a long day for philly.
  6. god dammit!!!!!! i want the eagles to win, but its now 14 -3 cardinals.
  7. i like the way it turned out, but i'm having loading issues with it. it had 33 sq" of port and was tuned 33 htz. i recently did surgery on it, cut the port area down to 28 sq" and shortened the port 6" to try and fix the problem. it will still unload on heavy bass songs. so hopefully in the next couple months i'll have a new design.
  8. mascot? i'm running a lvl 4 12 with lvl 5 coils, being powered by a rf t1k.
  9. some newer pics of my "bully". we have had him since feb. this year and weighed in at 57 lbs. now he's up to 90 lbs. just wish his head would grow a little more to fit his body. he is around 2 years old now. him showing his love for dc got a hold of the neighbors kids soccer ball.
  10. how is your coolant level? make sure it is filled to the proper level. another possibility is you might have air in the cooling system. a way for you to check the system for air is by turning your heater on full blast, park the truck on an incline (jack the front up) and open your radiator cap, turn the truck on and let it idle until full temperature. if you see bubbles coming out of your radiator then you have an air in your system somewhere let it all bubble out and fill it back up with fluid. If the bubbles dont stop then you have an air leak somewhere, They sell dye to find leaks.
  11. the only thing i'll give the fords are the 3/4 ton and 1 tons have the solid front axle. thats the only thing i hate about the chevy's independent front suspension.
  12. it could be your water pump. also was wondering about what type of fan it has. mechanical clutch fan,or is it electric? the fan could be going out, or if electric a bad relay.
  13. the 5.4 v8 is the most overrated p.o.s motor ford has. everyone i've driven just sucks. no torque,or upper end. also try doing a tuneup on any newer ford trucks or suv's. they aren't fun. as for the chevy's the vortec motors 5.0,5.7,5.3,6.0,and 8.1 are very well built. put out good power and are reliable and pretty easy to work on.
  14. got to love them old dodges. are those 39.5's or 44's? also does he have a build up thread for it? i'd like to check it out more.
  15. cruising along, and all of a sudden my mids(morel dotechs) go quite and start to stink and the cone locked up. not sure yet if my rf t3002 is ok or it caused the problem. fuck that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
