my goals with this build arent to be loud (well... yeah they are) but i want a really nice sq setup i dont want to shake any windows and a really want to keep weight down as much as possible im not against giving up the center speaker i just figured it was there for a reason for the sound stage to sound right i love how my car sounds now but it is REALLY lacking low end and it distorts at higher volumes... volumes that it shouldnt.... i think a full focal setup would be nice (except for the sub of course cause their 8" sub is like 1200)

also i really like the focal fpp5300 i just measured my trunk and with the space im willing to give up i only have room for 2 8"s sealed i might just run a single sealed just so it would be lighter

i actually like that memphis multi channel.... its really hight too but it got me to the woofersetc website looking at the other amps they have if im going to have a nice sq setup i might as well spend the money where it counts right?

I have a 2010 genesis with the infinity 10 speaker system and I'm thinking of doing some minor upgrades and i want to fun everything off a single amp just for simplicity I would like 100x4 or x6 and at least 500w mono for a sub are there any amps this big I did a quick search and didn't really find anything that i wanted also another thing how do I account for the factory center speaker and sub obviously I would remove the factory sub cause its absolutely garbage but I like the center speaker.... that would make the number of speakers odd how would I go about powering everything Thanks

dont use plexi less than an inch thick... and brace the fuck out of it lexan is too hight and not worth the price of a speaker box a sheet of 1" plexi is around $200

a slot port is an L port..... it just matters how long your port is if it bends or not making an L birch is stronger lighter and more expensive than mdf acoustically mdf is probably better but its over twice the weight for your application use mdf honestly you arent going to notice a difference
