    the bracing is really up to you just make sure you account for the displacement the more bracing you have the stronger the box will be in this case its better to have too much than not enough i build a box without enough bracing before and the pair of 18s i had in it almost blew it apart

    To be on the safe side you should brace it too I know that threaded rod can get expensive fast I spent over $55 for my box and I didn't even get nuts because home depot was out of stock

    that post has 2 fails in it not only is the ear-o-meter inaccurate going from 145 to 150 is a massive jump it takes double the power to go up 3db and double the cone area to go up 6db (IN THEORY)

    the larger number in a tire is the width the 285s will be narrower but as a result they will also be thinner because the smaller number is the profile ratio so the profile is 25% of 285 or 295 i hope that makes sense it did in my head

    if the AQ 12 is only 100 he might as well spend the extra 30-40 on the SA8s or DC8s because im sure they will destroy that 12 even though that amp is a little small for either

    i think 3 sundown E8s would be sweet or maybe just 2 but the E8s are a solid sub and would match that amp perfect

Wonder if it aplies to a 3.1 v6?? i was speaking of the trucks as in blazer tahoe c/k i know it does because i put my stock alt in the ac bracket just to see if it would fit the mounting points are the same but the cooling fan in the alt hit the bracket which is why a custom one would have to be made

    we have had 3 F150's now and historically with me, it always takes me a year or 2 to get used to the body style changes. this is a nice truck though, drives/rides like a car. A HUGE improvement over the '07......and i liked the '07 a lot. yeah same here my fav is still the 04-09 (i think its 09) by the time ill get used to this body style they will change it again though

    The mounting points are the same at least on GM motors but you have to worry about alignment with the rest of the accessories which is where the custom bracket comes it as far as I know there is no kit for this
