go check out my vids i had the headunit set on 3way I dont know if you can do that on the 505 however if you can the front rcas go to midbass and the rear rcas goes to only mids and highs sub chan stays the same if you can run it like that you can avoid that problem all my friends had the same problem the reason being is because the back speakers are far enough away for the sound wave to complete on the lower midbass and the software adjusts accordingly based on that the way imprint imprint works is it bases everything on freq it time alighs and eqs based on that if you want full details on how it works pm me an email and i'll type it all out I talked with the alpine rep for like an hour about it one day and he broke it down so to speak

i used the tld-66 from phoenix gold and it worked great however i was only using three amps though as for the EQ you could do that but I didn't see any need to after it was done everything was very even after the tune

If your main focus is SQ than it is great and yes the line driver will help when I did my car with the Cda-9887 and Imprint it sounded amazing but yes the voltage on the rcas will go down a bit after imprint. A few tricks for ya just before you do the imprint turn the gain on your sub amp to about 1/8th up and the mids and highs amp about a 1/4 up and all channels on the line driver to 1/2 and turn the sub level and any filters or time alignment stuff on the radio and the bass boost and crossovers on the amps to flat and then after imprint just adjust your gains on your line driver and amps in the order and you should be all set

if they work and look like they are in good condition I say go for it

I think you will be ok for a while just be easy on the bass knob and listen for distortion or the subs to plane out if that happens turn them down

ok resin it is then now as for the subs anybody have an idea on that

had a friend ask me to do it it was sealed if that makes anykind of difference and it performed well as far as i could tell although i did it before we ever played the subs at all so i never heard them in a regular enclosure any way any comments on the sub choices

I can get the dynamat way cheap if that matters but if i did go with resin how would i do the resin no t to familiar with fiberglass stuff have done a few projects but never with mdf how should i apply it, Oh and btw did you have an opinion on the subs

Ignorance is the only word to describe these people they say they crack down on all annoying noise sources. I can tell you for a fact that in jville that is not the case me and my friend at work together share 10 noise violations together. My neighbor has 2 harley soft tail's and has no mufflers on them and he has never told me he has been pulled over for it. I agree their is a time and place to crank it up, so to speak. But these people are ignorant as crap they don't understand that the Ford Mustang with the Shaker 500 system or the Chevy Tahoe with the Bose system can break their stupid 25 to 75 foot laws btw its 25 here in Jville errrrrrrrrr. So i had a qustions about lining the inside of your box with dynamat you know like each flat surface covered with one sheet good or bad idea my theory is that the rubber type backing would seal the pores on the mdf and provide a little more vibration resistance to the box anybody else try this or have an opinion on it also i was thinking of doing 6 of the new infinity reference 10's in place of the 3 type r's i was going to get because i can the infinity's for 250 shipped to my house vs the type r's 400 price tag good idea or not which would you do thanks for any advice

so if you built that the way i think you did take those plexi covers off your amps and its same concept as that plexi amp cover i made in the vid i told you to watch and cut a hole and mount those fans that you showed me on the plexi either will do fine and be done with it
