    i had two of the older audiobahn 1508 flame compression series. i f had them new i would still be using them. but when i got them the coils had been bottoming out and one blew. i had good luck with audiobahn.

    true you dont have to run a fuse, its just a precaution.

    yea that's fine. you could run the 1/0 from your batt to your alt without a fuse, but if something shorts out or anything. the weakest link is going to fry. be it your wire, or alt, or worse.

    yea the fuse is there just for safety, you don't have to use one. just make sure you use the appropriate gauge wire so it doesn't melt when you start ur car lol

    normally a stock alt on stock electrical will run through some type of fused link, somewhere in the cars electrical system . i would use a normal sized anl fuse.

    you put a fuse in line with the batt and alt. so if you hook anything up wrong or short something out, the fuse blows and saves all of your electrical. and possibly your ride.

    the only shop i go to. i do all of my building, but if i need speakers or anything audio wise i go to dedicated.

    i have a 300 amp fuse on my 3000, and a 150 amp fuse on my 2004.

    you should be able to use the wire you have at your work, just as long as its not a PITA to work with. i would check out the website previously posted though, great quality wire for a reasonable price imo.
