I think I heard that the install plays a big part in how load or good its going to be, if anything try both ways facing the box.

Check the fuse in or at the amp with dmm, check fuse at the battery with dmm sometimes they look good but go bad.

I got a pair of orange basket 12 m3 off ebay brand new 250 shipped, they have been working no problems and low n loud good subs.

If those are the old sx's they are 1000 watts each, you are running that amp at only 2 ohms. You have more power in that amp if u have good electrical to keep it in the 14v area. But a lot things come in to play.

pull the nail out a little bit at a time, put some water or spit on it . If you see air bubbles you need to get it fixed, if not you should be good. -
