    Seems like power and ground...if you have to plug them into your cigarette lighter, then that should act as your "remote"/switch

    More cone area = louder SPL potential....thats what every1 here has told me. If you are going to run 4 12's off 1k watts and 1 15 off 1k watts the 12's will be louder.

    48 inches of cone vs 15 inches of cone....clean up the W3's.

    Ok yeah, so RE tells me that if I made it 36" wide, 11" tall, 20" deep, and a 4" port 1, with 4" port 2, I would have ~ 3 cu ft, and 33.5hz tuning. (This is with the 12's firing out of the top and the port firing out of the back) Tell me if you guys think this is good enough to go into construction.

    Would the enclosure work if the subs fired out of the top and the port fired out of the back? Could some1 also clear up how bad it would be to have a 1 in port. Thanks.

    Hifonics isnt bad....I would get the AQ 2200...The DAT is wayyyy to much for yer budget

    Changing the length of the second port piece barely makes a difference and ganks my cubic space

    IDK if this would affect anything, but how I did it on RE to make it look right anyway was enter: Width 40", Height 20", Depth 10", then the ports......It just made it look right on the 3d model. (I reversed the height and depth)

    When I enter 4 inches for the port the tuning flies up to like 55hz.

    Ok so, this is going to be a top firing box in my trunk for 2 12" DC level 3's...I can use 11" height, 36" wide and 20" deep. I need 3 cu ft for the 12's...So 10" high, 36" wide, 20" deep...with port 1 - 1" and port 2 1"....The RE calc is how I got the numbers..I know its not perfect but it says the tuning would be right around 33hz.... The port just seems wrong to me....so if anyone could check me, or help me out I would be most grateful

    Im just thinking, the level 3's have more cone area and are actually rated higher so they would be better.

    The 2 level 3's would be 1.2k RMS....and the level 4 would be 1k RMS

    The space I have to work with is 3 cubic feet... The biggest I think I can get in my trunk would be 33" W, 13" H, 20" D I don't want to go to far over 1k watts because of stock electrical.... So I was thinking 2 level 3 12's? maybe 1 level 4 15? Whatcha guys thinking?

    More surface area = louder....as long as your running the same power. That amp probably puts 1.2k down @ 1 ohm, so I would say get 2 DC level 3 15's....Maybeh?
