tuning a ported box depends on the size of the box, and the size of the volume. typically, given the square inch size of the port, making it longer will lower the tuning. most boxes around here are tuned to low to mid 30's. the bigger the box...the bigger the port. EDIT: the formula can look weird and intimidating. but if you know what all the variables stand for, then there's nothin much to it but basic math. there's lots of people to help here, and a thread dedicated to port tuning and such. what subs you plan on running? ok so i went out there...and i notice a puddle under my driver side. kinda by the front wheel well. i'm like hm wtf. turns out there has been a leak. under my floor mat is SOAKED! solid ice right now. my mat was frozen to the floor too. any ideas? does this sound like a heater core problem?

ok so yeah...my heater in my explorer quit workin. i wanna say i dont think it's actually *broken*, cuz it was going strong one day then i start it the next, and it wasnt blowing warm air. i turned one of the knobs or somethin, then warm air kicked on like a switch. now...it's not working again, and i messed with it all and still nothin. cd player is out and i'm tryin to take out the hvac controls but cant find my sockets lol. any ideas to the problem? it's cold driving in 16 degree weather

i hear a lot of customer service problems from iraggi. i think that reason alone is going to keep me away from them. i have an ohio gen alt myself. called them, asked what i'd need for so and so. we hung up the phone...they did some figuring. called back to double check the info i gave them...hung up again...called back and told me what i'd need. ordered it the same day. got it shipped and it arrived very quickly also. so if you did go that route, you should feel a lil more confident with it

i've seen this done before, but i havent done it myself. i'm so used to windows interface i just leave it like that. i havent really looked into it tho. i'm sure you can give it a cleaner look, like a beauty panel and still have start menu and all that.

that's what i'd use. or some filler. spread it on, enough to still have your curves when you sand it down, then it should sand smooth and be paintable

i plan on getting polk also. db6501 i think is the model ima get. MIGHT check into the MMC6500 if i have a lil extra cash, which i doubt lol
