if you have 8 cubes of total space, then everything will get deducted from that. such as wood, port, sub, and bracing displacement. 8 cubes is GROSS volume, while the volume you get after subtracting all displacements is NET volume. so if you want a net volume of 8 cubes, then the port volume will be extra volume added to the overall box

hmmm....i'll ponder on it a bit. think i even got extra money in my paypal. electric drills are nice, but i always seem to end up with dead batteries lol and end up using corded drills. and in some instances it's just nicer as for the ones i have they're a lot more powerful. so i'd like an air tool to be able to back itself up as well i'll get back with you tonight about it.

also, certain different size speakers require different amounts of airspace. a 10" sub might work well in 1.0-1.5 cubic feet, while an 15" might work better in a 3-5 cubic foot box, or an 18" in a 5-10 cubic foot box.

how well do air drills perform when compared to corded drills? i got a decent sized compressor i'd like to accessorize with a couple lil things. i have my eyes on the mini drill and maybe the rotary sander or other drill

i've read from several people that they quality is nice and are very happy with them. and customer service is good as well. part of the reason why they're so cheap is somewhere on their site they say they have part ownership in the factory they're made so they dont need to pay processing fees or some shit. cant find it now tho

birch is stronger and lighter, but i like working with MDF better. smoother edges and whatnot and no splintering for me

look at it as an investment. nothing is free. you cant dj without headphones. so you buy headphones which allows you to dj which in turn earns you more money. money earned > the price of headphones. no headphones = no money

nope. read below this is correct. but...if you can hold out a couple days, my new calculator should be up and MUCH more detailed and MUCH more accurate. just gotta print a couple test sheets to make sure the layout is how i want it and maybe one other thing and it'll be good to go. it'll give you many more options and more 'fool proof' if you would, meaning you can put any dimension anywhere and it'll be ok

being brighter than stock i dont see 55 watt bulbs being necessary. i also hear those are like spot lights, which imo would annoy drivers no matter how they were pointed. EDIT: go to ddmtuning. they have warranty and i hear lots of good things about them. there's also a drop down menu for hi/lo kit for like $20 more

fyi...gain position on an amp has nothing to do with whether it's cranked. it depends on your voltage coming from your RCA's. so if you have a low low signal, turning it a pinch above halfway could be cranking it when matching the signal fyi...in order to tell if you're clipping, an o-scope is the only way to tell fyi...you cant be 100% sure they're fine. damage may not happen right away. i mean they COULD be....but then again (from the sounds of it) it could be causing lil bits of harm at a time fyi...ummmmm....yes you did. read below fyi...dirty signal/distortion = clipping not to mention box rise as well. even less

same thing happened to me. and on another not, i know it's fresh and new and i think *** did the same thing when they got renovated at first, but the main forum looks good (i like the default color scheme as well...darker grey with different shades of maroon) but when i click on individual threads, that's when things go haywire. background is plain white, and everything looks like the lo-res version but ALL out of place. like sigs are there, pics are there, but everything is out of wack. not sure if it's been mentioned, or needs to be mentioned....but just throwing it out there just in case. i'm using google chrome if that makes a difference. otherwise i think i like it just a little getting used to
