  1. soulja boy is a joke...plain and simple
  2. *ahem* i still dont see any pics of the tools/toolshop...
  3. that'd be ok for smaller holes i'd think...but i'd get a router anyway with a jasper jig. can do big and small holes
  4. i dno what else i could do...got the output voltage right at where it should be for it to have 3k watts. if i turn the bass boost up any more, that'd be too much wouldnt it? and possibly clip the signal
  5. it's loud, i just want it louder. i wanna break that 150 mark without having to spend another 2 grand on more equipment. my build is in my sig if you wanna look. first box is trash, the last couple pages have the box that's in there now
  6. yeah i was thinking of a clamshell style box too. hell...with some crafty thinking and wood working, i could fit 4 more. but yeah. there a difference in a regular wall vs a clamshell? and i've seen his video plenty of times. LOVE how everything looks alive
  7. bizzump for more opinions. tho i'll probably at least test around with a wall in the spring
  8. same guy does an 'ad' about breathing. funny as SHIT. 'so start breathing today...or start dying' lolol gotta check that one out too
  9. it's not a necessity...but...if a cops trailing my tail i'll see him a lot sooner
  10. 16 cubes...i'd need to measure but 90% sure i'd still need it behind the front seats anyway. which i'm all for prevents me from riding everyone around lol. i may have to toy around with this idea. might get a rear view monitor style mirror and a rear view camera first so i dont have to lose my mirror heheh
  11. ok...so...i went to a comp on the 2nd of feb, so i got metered on a TL, and only hit a 147.1. i thought it'd be louder than that. i peak around 43-46 hz. my goal is to break the 150 mark which i know is not easy. figured 4 15's and 3k watts to each would be a good start tho but my question is about ANOTHER new build (tho not for a few months) i got a crx style box atm. question is...how much of an SPL improvement would i see by making a wall? my friend says comparing these 2 types of boxes is like comparing a barrel shotgun to a sawed off shotgun as the wall has shorter distance to bounce or somethin like that. it was in a text so not the easiest thing to read sometimes lol. i dont think i could afford another 1700 bucks on 2 more amps atm, so you think if i build a wall...i could *possibly* hit that 150? or maybe a ported clamshell box? any input is welcome
  12. yeah...i cant justify spending that much on a card when my whole computer build costs about that without the card
  13. yeah i'm lookin at an 8800GT or GTX. POSSIBLY an 8800 ultra, if the price does drop with those. yeah i wanna play COD4 too when that 9 series comin out?
  14. damn! wish i didnt buy my PSU yet. it's nice and all...slight chrome look, but this...i love this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p;Sku=A107-1088 clear and lights ftw!
  15. hahahah porn ftw. i wanna play bioshock/crysis/other new games comin out. ima be a broke college student for a while, so that's what ima have to do in my free time
  16. yeah, there's always someone that knows that 'one' helpful site. i didnt know about newegg for a while. hopefully i dont need to replace my heater core so i can finish my PC. thinkin it might be an electrical problem tho instead. the guy said the heater core is full, yet i'm leaking water from an unknown source. meh...
  17. yeah ima check them for my video card when i get my taxes. hopefully i can find somethin 'cheap' enough yet still beefy
  18. ah shit that's the site i meant rofl. still stand by my statement of it lookin iffy. i click a link, then i just get a big ass list of things. tho my hardware book from school makes references to this site a lot.
  19. yeah, imo the site itself looks iffy. like an amateur put it together or somethin
  20. that's a good easy one to use, but it only uses slot ports the length of the box. i like a port like mine that's a big rectangle in the middle. the formula allows calculations for that
  21. pricegrabber.com (i think that's the site) is not bad. very easy to see price ranges, tho i dont think it's as successful as newegg. i'd use newegg or ebay. i think i'm ordering my case from tigerdirect.
  22. here's the formula for it just break it down with each variable and it's not as hard as it looks. i also have a program to figure out round and square ports. just input dimensions and it'll figure the tuning
  23. yeah i'm sketchy with anything near 100k miles. you definitely got a gem tho
