I gotta say I love both, on the domestic side; i own a ford f250 with a 460, 7.5L engine, and it's a BEAST!...on the import side; my '73 air cooled VW saves A LOT more gas than the f250!lol! Domestic=Muscle Import=gas saver edit: restored domestics trucks are more eye-catching!

we pretty much charge the same, the reason why i charge a bit more is because people tend to add things they want me to do to their car while I'm working on it and that way I wouldnt have to up the price anymore....also, i ask for them to provide the paint because it wouldn't be fair if one person wants a basic white and another wants a pearl or candy and charge the same, know what I'm sayin.... like you said about the nice and glossy part, we charged 2k for the '55 chevy on my myspace(in my sig.), but the guy provided ALL materials, all we charged for was labor... true, location tends to interfere with business!lol

That guy's trying to rip you off asking you provide materials, food, and transportation...I would do that Explorer for $1500 colorsanded and buffed to a mirror-like shine, the ONLY thing i would ask you to provide the paint itself, i'd even do all the work at your place if u have space....too bad, i'm all the way out in Cali :/ .....

I usually remove it with a blade and tint application solution, maybe you could try windex....?

I know exactly what you mean, but I haven't had many high-powered systems or much money to spend to test both options out and was pretty much asking if more power would be louder than more cone area for system planning...

I put "most of the time" because I had some 12" kicker comps claiming 9.76mm xmax and a soundstorm 12" 1200w claiming 8.64mm xmax...

Sorry if it's just another noob question, but I'm wonderin what would end up being louder: 1 15", 5,000w Or 1 18", 2,000w I know about the whole "more cone area" thing, but most of the time higher powered subs have more xmax, so yea, I'm pretty sure u know what I mean...
