take a 6.5 inch pro audio speaker and convert it to a microphone. should be able to handle the volume fairly well. ive tested it before but i get a ton of noise which i am not sure if it is the sensitivity of the speaker or the fact that i spliced an old cable pretty shoddily but i believe that is the answer here. you need something that is capable of moving more than a standard mic. however it will only pick up the LOUD sounds and probably have a muffled sound to it.

I suggest the Tang Band W8 kinda expensive but a great sounding driver i believe that Tang Band makes Logitechs higher end subs like the 5500 but im not too sure on that

like i said contrast. the all chrome ones look great on a darker vehicle, not white its like a blonde chick with no mascara. just doesnt look right exhibit A exhibit B contrast

are you doing an 8th wave? because if you are trying a quarter wave your length tunes to 65hz and the sd of a 12 is no where near the 184 sq inches of port you have

tune to the fs of the sub or higher. depends on your preferences and as far as i know there is no such thing as a one note wonder tline all of them are very musical

like i said on youtube did you ever really rev it up? like close to redline, 9k or so the acceleration from 55-90 was no where near where it could have been i really hope you did because from what i have read the acceleration on this thing is unmatched

Rusty when you get that cone back please be sure to let us know what was messed up with it if you can. it only did a 123 on an saz4500 @ 2ohm and before anyone blames the box, electrical, fuse etc we dropped a crossfire in it and it was doing low 40s. same circumstances we tried the DC without fuses for a "shiggles" PP5 run and besides the fact that it was ridiculously quiet it blew up we then dropped in a Crossfire sub which had never been used and it did well. id just like to know is all. it surprised me as i have heard many XLs and none seemed as pathetic as this one did. so please no one get angry with me for stating this. in the interest of science i want to know what the failure point was
