caught burning out
SocoJoe replied to Sick916's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
back in high school me and a friend went up to our local "Rec" (recreation) park and decided to do donuts and shit in the gravel parking lot, yes we were baked out of our minds and retarded, and the guy that runs the place pulled up and blocked us from leaving while he wrote my friends plates down. We hauled ass back to his house and within 20 minutes 2 cops rolled up and asked us questions and shit, we admitted and just had to go rake and shovel the parking lot back to "normal" lol.... childish shit, I blame it on the drugs -
either they will figure away around the patent or just settle outside of court with some ridiculous amount of money. there is no way they would let it be yanked off shelves and make EVERYONE take it off their comp, would be ape shit!

SocoJoe replied to Austin175's topic in Tunez - All things music related
iTunes has a nice built in burner as well. More then likely most ppl will already have there's up from adding songs to ipod, so if you want to burn a quick compilation just use iTunes. -

never said it was the same, just different options to save money, if all he is doing is school work and internet he doesn't need anything "souped" up
-
that laptop would be good but I found one on newegg that would be just as good. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834114655 and then upgrade to 4 gig memory http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp...te%20L305-S5962 would be a little bit cheaper then the HP.... just a option

http://www.edmunds.com/calculators/clunker.html See what that site suggests you can get back on it, way your options, see what kinda money you have to work with and could possibly put down along with whatever the cash for clunkers gives you. Sure wish this program was around when I bought my new car, shit came out like a month after, go figure. -
Ethnicity & Race Question?
SocoJoe replied to iTech's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
That's a racist fucking form that's all I know lol, the way it should be is all the races in one, why it has the hispanic up top by its lonesome is retarded. Seeing as you don't fall into any of the section B portion, just leave it like you have it. -
Misinterpretation Of Text

lmao, I find it hard to believe though a 23 year old doesn't know what LOL stands for, but either way that's just funny. -
A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2" in diameter. He then asked his students if the jar was full. They all agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. Again, they agreed it was. The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "Yes." The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and proceeded to pour their entire contents into the jar - effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life: The rocks are the important things - Your Partner, Your Children, Your Family, Your Health. Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter - like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else. "The small stuff." "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued "there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party and fix the disposal. Take care of the rocks first - the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show that no matter how full you life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers."
