    Strip your big wire with a razor blade. Slice around, pull off. Any name brand strippers should last you years.

    Those rubber stops might be too close to the front edge of the hood. The scuff plate might overhang. If it does fit, its a good spot, but you might have to make brackets like the guy said in Cutty's vid.

    I would try to use the bumpstop location like you said. There are 2 nuts you can't see in the picture. Add a washer, maybe rubber-backed, and the hood will rest on that and the nut will allow it to adjust. Use stainless rivets to mount the scuff plates, you don't want rust.

    You could, but then how will you adjust the height if it doesn't align right when closed? You might be able to mount the posts right next to those bump stops though. Do you have picks of the pin kit you got?

    I have the same tire on my car. Great overall, but wish they were a little stickier for launching. Lateral grip is awesome, though.

    I know about finding the right mounting spot and drilling the right spot on the hood itself, but im not sure if you need a specific bit for drilling cf cleanly.
