  1. Im gonna wire it up after I go pick up my wife from work.
  2. Since both crossovers will be mounted near eachother, can I just run 1 wire and split it off into 3? Instead of running separate wires all the way from the amp to the crossovers? They are all on the same channel anyway.
  3. With some quick calculations, your box is WWWAAAAYYYY too fucking small. Thats like the volume for a single 10". Build a new box, dude.
  4. But that's the right way (sarcasm). I was hoping for a magic formula to figure it all out.
  5. I'm having no luck selling the Rainbows, so I might use them. Each channel of my 175.4 will have a set of 3 speakers on it, midbass, midrange, and tweeter. The midbass has its own crossover, and the mids/tweets share a crossover. Each individual speaker has a 4 ohm vc. Is there a way to figure out the ohm load to the amp without hooking everything up and getting a dmm reading? I'm still undecided whether to use them or not. Anyway here is a picture of how the manual shows to wire it up.
  6. I am also interested in a price for 2 to 92591. Resting voltage pics required.
  7. Check out all the crossover options on the Rainbow comps i have for sale. Bottom of first page. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/117592-2-bnib-rainbow-slc36525-ng-3-way-components-price-drop/

  9. To clarify, I didn't mean it to sound negative. I just wanna see the second sub in there.
  10. Since when does FedEx not deliver on Mondays?
  11. Its a cool little setup, not quite sotm yet. Get that second sub in there.
  12. The h/u is somewhere around here. Got the back speakers. The wiring is chopped to hell though.
  13. Don't know about a nut, thought about a kidney. Good idea on the friend buyback thing. Gladly I don't have to sell it, but now it's in the back of my mind.
  14. Its irrelevant now. A couple things came up.
  15. I got a scare yesterday when a bunch of shit came up and I thought about selling my car. I felt like throwing up. Its been handled, but now I'm curious how much You all think I would get for it. Would it be better to sell it as is with the system in it? KBB says I should ask 25,100 for a private party sell. It would have to go to an audiophile or basshead, so how much? Equipment list: DC 270XP Alt XS S1200 XS D6500(2) 4 runs of Knu 1/0 Kenwood Excelon X794 with integrated dash kit Custom doors with 2 sets of 3-way components(Rainbow SLC365.25NG) DC XL 10" d1 subs(2) DC 5k DC 175.4 Sub enclosure built and wrapped by me Other stuff: Tenzo 18's wrapped in Pirelli PZero rubber. 5% all around SCT 91 Tune Pype Bomb muffler delete Pypes O/R x-pipe Or would it be better to strip the system and drop the price to sell the car with no music at all. No deck, no speakers, factory speaker wire gone, cut up trunk carpet. Just kind of a 'what if' topic here.
  16. Pops came through. I'll be keeping my ride. It made me sick to think about selling it.

  17. Fuck me!! The DC 'Stang might be going up for sale :(

Its not 100% yet. Unforeseen medical stuff and import taxes/fees on the wifes new car have come all at once. We'll see.

  18. If you play a lot of Decaf or c&s, set it with -5 or even 0.
  19. Did you use the -15db track to set the bass amp using the dd-1?
  20. There's no room for bolt cutters guys. The screw comes up MAYBE 1/8", probably less. I can hardly get a flathead screwdriver between the basket and box. I'll update what I try and what works (or doesn't) tomorrow.
  21. I like the extra drilled hole idea. I'm gonna try to dremel first, then do the hole. It will be covered by the gasket anyway.
