I spoke to Rusty this morning but didn't ask exactly what they are waiting for. Everything is done, amps, motors, etc, but now the crew has to wait for it all to be delivered. He said once they get it all, they will be bustin' their asses to get it all out.

At least it means i'll get mt subs and amp at the same time.

You can start with a frame and then finish it off. Or build a regular big box and seal it with beauty panels like Eclipse said. If this is your first wall, good luck gettin' her done in 11 days. Make a build log, too.

I found a guy with some xl motors I want to get. He said to make an offer, but I have no idea where to start. Anybody got a general idea how much used xl motors go for? I don't want to be a dick and lowball him too bad.

Here's a theoretical question, if I were to place an order for 2 xl 10's tomorrow morning, when could I expect to see them?

Well, I finally have my wheels. The car looks badass with the flat black, and these weigh half as much as the stock wheels. Needs a little drop and eventually some nice brakes. I'll be painting the calipers for now. Pics tomorrow, I'm cooking dinner and there won't be enough light by the time I'm done.

thanks how big was you sealed box were you just able to slide it in the trunk? what do you think about the up firing design i was talking about, i noticed you did one in your stang with a single twelve how did it sound and did you like it? The sealed box was just under 1 cube per sub, and it could be squeezed in through the trunk opening. Firing up, your trunk lid will take a beating. Mine sounded good that way, but sucked ass on the meter. If you plan on competing, it will be fine. Just deaden the trunk please, kill as much rattle as possible.

Im going to be honest, those Type-Rs do well in sealed enclosures. I had 2 of them (12's) in a 2000 mustang and it got loud throughout a very wide range, 28-60ish hz sounded really good. Just my opinion here, but I don't see a proper 'removable box fitting in there for 2 12's. You could build in the trunk, but are you ready for a permanent enclosure?
