    Yeah. It was kinda on purpose though to 'test' the Stetsom power. Im gonna check the leads tomorrow though, my soldering skills suck bad.

    Well since you thread jacked, navi, i'll reply. It was the first TL run with the setup, computer took a shit after the first test. I made a tread about this a while back. And the enclosure was shitty, thats why I suggested box design to this guy. Apologies Shooter.

    Ok so it died at over 5000 watts. I had some minimal coil rub and I don't know if I did that good a job soldering the tinsel leads. So the failure could be that. But it was my first time re-coning and I now know how powerful these amps are. I didn't smell anything, so I might have just broke the leads.

    Maybe a different box for your sub. I did 139 with a single twelve on 2600 watts, but yeah two 12's would be even better.

    Since i've got a new build in the works, I want to have some fun with my XL. I need to test my new stetsom anyway. Here it is now. Tomorrow i'm gonna start it at 2000 watts, and move up in 500 watt increments, all on music, just to see how good my recone skills are. Its my first recone ever. With my current electrical, I can probably get a clean 5500 out of the stetsom. Predictions when the xl dies?
