    1.5" baffle + 23" physical port length + 2.75" (distance from centerline of port to port edge) + 1.375" width of turn + .75" (width of port wall) = 29 3/8" Will end correction make up for the lost 5/8"? Does it even matter? I think I figured it out, just had to talk it out. LOL

    I think Torres calc is confused. The port ends 2.75" from the back wall, and shouldn't need a bend after end correction.

    Came up with these numbers for a pair of Havoc 12's. The physical port length is throwing me off. If physical port length is 23", then it shouldn't have to bend, but the "port bends" box says YES. It is a center port design.

    The owner of the company told me at CES, "they can take your 7.5k all day". I think he was trying to make a sale. I will say they are built damn good, but the coils aren't taking that power all day every day. I would say 1500 each for daily is a safe bet.

    Yep, they will all be separate. I want a sort-of 3-way setup that can play down to 30hz without my main sub. On certain songs I think it just sounds better that way.

    So, sub further from listener? Opposite what I thought, but wil make the pods easier to build. Yeah Adam, they'll be angled up a little.

    This isn't really an SQ question, but it does have to do with sound quality. With a 6.5"sub, 6.5" mid, and tweeter in each door, how should they be arranged. The tweeter in high on the door int the factory location, so that's set. The sub and mid will be side by side in the bottom front corner of the door. I'm wondering if it would sound better with the mid closer to the listeners, or the sub closer? Here's a quick sketch up, sorry it was real quick.

    Just look at the driver side door jamb. There should be a sticker with the vehicle weight rating printed on it.

    They are 4.8", too deep. I need something under 4.25", unless I redo my pods.

    Make sure your car can handle the weight of a wall, especially if its your daily. Then, it seems to me you need to do a lot of reading and researching other wall builds. Then ask questions if there are still parts you don't understand.

    How is it wired up, you have a pair of comps and a pair of coax on a 2-channel?

    What did your dad change? Just pads? Might be air in the lines, bleed them. Might be the rears weren't adjusted after compressing them to get the drum back on. They are supposed to self adjust, but won't if they are compressed too much. If thtas the case, you were smelling brakes because the fronts are doing all the work. Just things to check.
