    Yeah david, ordered those yesterday. I'm gonna see how it goes, and start a battery fund in the meantime. I figured out where I can put a couple 3100's.

    On my 5k and 175.4 setup, I never saw less than 13.1. So i'm thinking this new setup may dip into the low 12's. Have to find room for a couple more, I guess.

    Well damn, it would be almost 1400 bucks for 3 3100's. One of my 6500's is brand new and the other two are just over a year old. Maybe drop back down to a 5k for the sub.

    Already got the 4 runs. I could MAYBE fit another 6500 in the spare tire well. Would 3 3100's be a huge improvement over the 6500's?

    Okay, running a DC 7.5k at 1 ohm, DC 1.2k at 2 ohms, and my 6-channel at 4x2 ohms and 2x2 ohms. So ~7500,~900, and ~1500, so about 10K watts total. I have a DC 270XP, an XS S1200, and 3 XS D6500's. Is this going to cut it?

    I am considering NOT fusing the 4 pos runs to my 7.5k. The batteries are close, no sharp edges between batteries and amp, I don't know. If I wreck bad enough to pull/break wires and cause a short, I can just claim it as a total loss with insurance. Got personal insurance coverage for my system.

    Honestly, mine is not fused. Just be careful where/how you run the wire and you should be fine without it.

    You missed out on the Rainbows I had for sale last week. $350 a set for 2 sets of 3-way components. And where are finding Hi-energy comps for 300 a set?

    Its best to just spend the money now for some good gear. Otherwise you will be upgrading later. Why do it twice, save up for a while if you have to.
