    If it is switched to 3-way, where would you grab a signal for the subs?

    Get the shape you need using cardboard. Trace that to mdf, it needs to fit tight. Blue painters tape on headliner. Press mdf pieces into place.

    All the rca wiring connections look good. The gain pot and connection isn't loose. I think it may be the big wires, one is output and one is ground, so if they're bad, could be the problem. I will not be attempting the repair however LOL

    The knob is long gone. I have one for my 200.4 though, wonder if its compatible.

    Guess you missed the part where I wrote its not mine. Borrowed for a comp, and its been having the issue for almost a year. Its owner told me to open it up after the show.

    Its common sense. Do you hook up your speaker wires with the power on? Yes is the wrong answer.

    Could be the harness. Never hook anything up with the power on.

    Everything should be off before you hook anything up. Ground dd-1 Probe to POS speaker terminal Turn on system and play selected track Turn on dd-1

    Is this with the amp turned off? Was the DD-1 turned off?

    If you can open the package, check the tweeter speaker wire. Should be attached to the tweeter with a black epoxy. Inside the crossovers, make sure the board says Hertz, not Nertz. The mids should be built clean. No goopy or excess glue, the surrounds should fit perfect on the basket, screws holes centered nicely.

    Is the company an authorized dealer? Start there. If you can't open the box before bidding, there's really no way to tell.

    So this amp has problems with its output. Almost like the gain is moving around. Sometimes it puts out power, sometimes nothing, sometimes just a little bit LOL. Note the two silver cables.... And how they are brown on this end. Don't know if thats the cause of the output issue, but still found it interesting.

    People say that the vibrations can damage internals, but think about it, the whole car vibrates. And what about all the vibrations of driving. I don't think its such a bad idea, especially if you're tight on space.
