  1. Damn.. I fell slightly bad for some of you guys... anyways.. Getting Dumped! Fuck That!!!
  2. Okay so this is what I did on my moms 2009 Mercedes. I tapped into one of the rear door speaker and spliced in an extra wire that I ran to the trunk where I connected a sound processor, which transfered the signal into RCA out witch I then obviously connected to the amp. For a remote, I tapped into the acessory fuse (which in my case was under the hood but most of the time is under the dash) and since the acessories only work when the ignition is on, the amp is only one when the ignition is on. So I hope this helps! BTW Line output converters come in all different price ranges ($20 to $700+?) so it should be a good solution for you! Edit: something that I didnt explain right is that there is a cheaper whay and a more expensive way, a line output converter or line lever converter is the cheaper way and you often dont get the best SQ, the more expensive and better way is a sound processor!!
  3. Thats good info for me to store in my brain, thanks for informing me!! :good:
  4. I wouldnt know, a couple years ago when I bought my HP, I didnt have a choice of Intel. And yes I do know ATI=AMD.
  5. Well I am definately no Guru and have read many of your posts and know that you know exactly what your are talking about (Its about time someone does lol..) So maybe someday Ill give AMD a second chance, I have just never had good experiance with them in the past.
  6. hellz yeah!! saved me from some antivirus 2009 thing that got all intertwined in the registry! :good:
  7. had this tablet for about a year.. awesome computer and tablet percision.. only downfall, no optical drive.
  8. sorry bro.. it sounds like you have to do a full reformat!
  9. If I were you I would go with the sony. I have owned both and the sony beat the hp by a mile!! IMO, AMD processors suck, and thats what HP uses. In terms of the graphics card if all that your are doing is CAD design stuff than you should be fine!
  10. Thats crazy interesting!! Tony, you are a beast!! Who would have ever thought of making an amp based of of a defibrillator??
  11. Awesome vid Steve!! I would have never even known about clipping if it werent for this vid. I ordered my O-Scope right after watching!! Cant wait to get it!! I know you're a busy dude and all but if you ever have a little spare time, make some more demonstration vids, theyre super helpful and much appricated!!
  12. This is an awesome tutorial Steve!! Thx!! Its always nice to get a great turorial from the master! :good:
  13. Nice!! What are you powering them with?
  14. Ya thats the set that I was looking at, but after reading around I am leaning towards the Hertz. Thx for the advice bro..
  15. My goal is indeed SQ. From what I have heard tho.. I am leaning towards the Hertz speakers. Any thoughts on Hertz?
  16. So I am in the process of shopping for door speakers to go along with my two Rockford Fosgate Power 600-4 amps. I have been looking at focal speakers as well as many other brands (Like RF). I have heard Focal has amazing SQ witch is what I am looking for. I can afford Focals, but are they really worth the 1400 bucks a pair or can I get just as good of SQ from another brand for a better price?
  17. Ya. My amp does have a pass through but its a 4 channel amp, it only has one pass thru.. and my HU only has a sub out and a door speaker etc.. out so I guess that would work great if I had 2 channel amps.. but I alread bought these 4 channel one... Thanks for the advise though!
  18. The price isnt that bad.. I actually expected it to cost more! In my short time of working with audio equip. I have definantly learned that you dont get good sound quality without quality equipment! Thanks man!!
  19. Cool.. so if i run my pre outs through this then I can use y-splitters and not lose quality right?
