  1. $400 for subs and amp? 15" AQ SDC2.5 on a; http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-Rockford-Fosgate-P500-1bd-amp-not-refurb-/130422197062?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item1e5dc4cb46 <-- Best choice http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-SOUNDSTREAM-700-WATT-1-CHANNEL-CAR-AUDIO-MONO-AMP-/270407131726?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item3ef585624e http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-MTX-JH600-1200-WATT-MONO-CLASS-D-AMPLIFIER-CAR-AMP-/220654568342?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item3360098396
  2. Try it out. But AQ subs don't really like the low low lows. They like mid to high 30s if not in the 40s. I think it'd sound good and just don't put a lot of power to it, to be safe if you don't want to damage it.
  3. Looks good, especially with the tool you used!
  4. The AP1500 does rated, not 100% sure on the 1800, but it probably will.
  5. I got a Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd - 1345 rms @ 1 ohm - for sale, $320 shipped. Pm me if interested.
  6. I know. You want sub forward, port up? Using the rear wall of the box, center the port. You will have to make the sides for it also. Having a port that is 40+ inches wide won't yield the result you want. So you would have to make a 3 sided hole in the top of the box in the center/rear side, that is 15 inches wide and (going toward the front of the box 3 inches) and the overall dementions for the box would 18 inches tall x 43 inches wide x 15 inches deep. Understand?
  7. Ok, this is slot port, probably the only way it'll work. 18H X 43W X 15D will yield, before displacement, a tuning of 32.41 (will go up after sub is in) if it is 15"W X 3"H X 17" long. It would be an L shapped port, so you would have to bend it after the first 15" and make a 2" extension perpendicular.
  8. I could only get it below 35hz by using AERO PORTS. 3 4" aero ports at 15" long will get you to 34.1hz before sub displacement with 4.35^3 ft before displacement. This is with the box being 40W x 15D x 17H. or if you made them 17" long, drop tuning to about 32hz.
  9. I was at a fair last night, and they had a moment of silence for this kid because alot of people there knew him. They all made us feel bad and like it wasn't his fault... I'm pretty sure this is the kid they were talking about.
  10. You're not allowed to sell on here until you have 150 posts.
  11. This isn't a Sundown SAZ1500 though...
  12. Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd (Newer model) - 1345 Rms @ 1 ohm - $330 shipped
  13. I have a Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bd - $330 shipped - 1345 rms @ 1 ohm
  14. If you set the gains properly, probaly have the turned down a little, they could handle it. And I'd set the filter at like 35hz
  15. My SDC2.5 15, sounds amazing and gets pretty loud. I vote for 2 SDC2.5s
  16. Rf T1000bd - $330 shipped - 1345 rms @ 1 ohm I used it on my BL and it slammed!
  17. if you're running 2k rms then you're running 2k rms, it doesn't matter what ohm you're running it. You could run a 1500 rms amp at .5 ohms and get close to 2k. But I think it'd be best off running 2 1k+k amps, one on each coil.
