well I had rusty add more stiffening spiders and he also put double tinsel leades on mine and when talking to him he said they should take a AQ200D each just fine. and that was coming from the MAN. so yeah i would say so .

first off that amp will not handle a 1 ohm load . your subs can either be wired @ 1ohm or 4ohm and that amp will go into to protect if you even do a 1ohm load. and why ur subs are going into shit mode is a totally different story. like build quality of the amp . you probably have the gain turned up. way up and and when you give it volume its sending a "2000 Watt" clipped signal and tearing your subs apart. get a better amp before you kill those woofers.

alright this is actually my dads build yes I said Dad ( he is 59 ) shhh don't tell anyone I told You anyways his old system consisted of pioneer premier deh-p720 memphis mcd-1000 alpine 50 x 4 ( not sure of model cant remember it ) kenwood 3 way 5 1/4's kenwood 4 way 6x9's custom box fiberglass top painted blue pearl with silver flake 2 eclipse 12's ( cant remember those number's either ) anyways all of this was in a 1990 Dodge Conversion Van.....( old Mans Ride ) Anyways after talking to him for a little while and doing some discussing ..... I contacted Rusty ( << Thanks again man ) and we ordered 2 "15" lvl xl's ( subs should be arriving tuesday) So we did the box 44 wide 25 high 17 deep with a port area of 108 cu inches tuned to 32 HZ.... He ordered a Audiopipe AP30001D to push these 2 monsters with.. He is keeping the alpine for the moment maybe upgrading later but as of right now he has a 120 amp alt and a kinetik HC1400 - I think this will do just fine for him ( he isn't one to turn it up all the time or for long periods of time - even 5 mins ) we put in all knukonceptz 1/0 ultra flex cable... and memphis rca's. now with him having grand kids and so forth he didn't want to lose the back seat so thats why the sub's are gonna be firing straight up from behind the bench seat in the back.. well anyways I will try to get some pics up as soon as possible .but you can see it in the members build show off forum. anyways thanks again rusty and we both appreciate the help.... old system first.......

he did say w3's not w6 or w7 --- there not made for much power over that TBH! I had 3 10w3v3 dual 6 wire to 1 ohm on a memphis 1000 d and lol ---- the coil left the former on the first set...replace them and lost 3 coils 1 on each sub .... so they only had roughly 380 watts each and they were not clipping either . from then on my jl days were over !

That not really true... thats like saying a 18 has a slow response and cant get the punchy notes.... if it were me i would do 2 DC lvl 3 15 though .... thats my opinion! e-mail rusty and see what kind of price he coud give you on those ..
