  1. Just check the sigs. They usually say to PM them for box designs.
  2. I believe James does. I don't personally, but I may get into it later.
  3. Well I've never heard anything about them. And Gregggg, that's funny and disturbing at the same time.
  4. A Crunch GPV2000.1 can be had at sonicelectronix.com for a little over $100. They are 100W RMS x 1 @ 1-ohm. EDIT: is the sub the Level 4 or the Level 4 XL? And I might have missed it, but are you running 1 sub or 2?
  5. Ok. I have one Crunch and it is a very good and reliable. Thanks for the advice.
  6. They may not be built for it, but they are designed to tolerate up to 24 volts for a few seconds. OTOH, is the check vehicle light coming on?
  7. Build your own. Some of the members do box designs. Read their sigs to see if they do box designs.
  8. I was originally looking at those. I was looking at the Crunch GPV2000.1, but according to the site it only does 1000W RMS x 1 @ 1-ohm. I reckon i'll go with the Crunch. One more question, are Crunch amps underrated?
  9. Has anyone ever heard of Power Acoustik? I haven't heard too much so I wondering how good their products were. I was thinking of getting this amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14613_...LFA1-2000D.html and was wondering if it did its rating. I plan on using 2 Crunch 12" DVC 4-ohm subs wired to 1 ohm so each sub would see 600 RMS (their RMS rating).
  10. I'll buy it for half that price. LOL, I know that'll never happen. Too bad I won't have the money available to after it's over.
  11. IIRC, some subs begin to smell while being broken in. Don't play it more than 1/2 way until it stops (I think that's correct).
  12. My trucks tire's grip the road to the point where they won't burnout. Trust me, I've tried. The front end comes up off the ground before the tires let loose.
  13. There's one that some guy made that will shoot potatoes at over 100 MPH. That would have to hurt. I think any potatoe guns that shoot potatoes at over 10 MPH should be illegal.
  14. Yeah, I like it too. I 'ed at that episode the first time I saw it. I admit, that was immature, but a good explosion is always funny (as long as it's safe). They made the truck go by-by!
  15. Yep. The sad thing is, they usually end up working harder to steal something than they would have to to earn it themselves. Most thieves get high from stealing.
  16. Pay close attention, this is how to get more SPL. Wonder how many dB's that was?
  17. That entire intake looks new. Is it? That's what I meant by "airbox". You shouldn't be able to run the engine without it. You may have gotten lucky and got one that's designed to run with and without them. You definitely will not get as much performance or mileage without it.
  18. You have to modify the new airbox to accept the MAF. I'm surprised your engine still runs without it. You can keep the aftermarket intake and should. It will be hard, but you will free up some horsepower. An upgrade like that is well worth the time. EDIT: you have to put it after the filter and you cannot zip tie it in. That's an accident waiting to happen. You have to properly secure it.
  19. Yeah, but they were out at the time and I needed some (at the time I was planning using a sealed box).
