  1. 1 4500D PER COIL!!????.... Good luck. Hope you don't blow the subs. LOL.
  2. Awesome. Sounds really good. Can't believe how much that things moving.
  3. I'm no expert, but I've seen a few diesel runaways. That looks pretty close. But it looks like he did it on purpose?... Like I said, I'm not expert, but at the end, he kept on the gas even though there were sudden bursts of speed that quickly dropped off. Sounds to me like it was close to a runaway and he kept on it anyway... Maybe?... Also, notice how all the guys ducked for cover a few seconds before it blew. It looks like it was on purpose.
  4. Kinda what I'm thinking.
  5. It wouldn't be too costly. Probably 60 for labor plus the cost of a new part.
  6. Move to Mississippi. They don't care. Unless you have a record, that is... You think that's bad. If you get one major ticket in MS while under 18, theres a chance you'll lose your license till 18. It's not always going to happen, but it does.
  7. Yeah, it should work. But it won't be very loud.
  8. Why waste the money. Go ahead and get a 2 cube box and tune it to whatever you want. I don't know how those DC's would like that little airspace. But I've never run DC's, so I don't know. It's up to you.
  9. WTH you talking 'bout? I know of at least 4 responses in that thread. One of them was by me. EDIT: Unless it's a different one I'm thinking about...
  10. WTH kinda state joo live in? Anyway, happy 18th bro. I turn 18 this December myself, so I know how excited you get waiting for it.
  11. Hell yeah. Joo gonna plug a computr into it so you can work and post in real time?
  12. BTW, good job Steve. I like the two tone look. Awesome. Can't wait to see what breaks. (I'm sure something will).
  13. Thank you very much. Now I'm gonna dream about putting a crapload of speakers in that thing.
  14. I don't know if you have enough airspace ported. Your dimension net you about 12 cubic feet and each sub probably takes up .2 cubic feet plus the port which will take up about .5 assuming you tune it relatively low (mid to low 30's). I'm kinda on edge about it myself. If you subs/port take up more than .2/.5 cubes respectively, you will not have enough airspace. It might still work, but it's awfully close to being too small. I'd increase one of the dimensions by 1 to 2 inches. EDIT: you might want to see about going 40x26x26 if possible.
  15. 6 12"s would have the most cone area. Assuming the same power as before, you would move more air.
  16. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...st&p=784154 Steve, I don't know if you've seen it or not, but there's the answer on how to paint over chrome.
  17. That's still cheaper than what I got quoted. One place told me over 400 per bag! (not counting install). Will those bags work good with 3-4" of lift? And for that matter, are they easy to put on?
  18. With the choices the OP gave, I'd go with the 6 LVL4 12"s. More cone area = more power. But if you can fit them, 4 LVL4 XL 15"s. They would have the most cone area.
  19. How much did those bags cost?
  20. We were talking about the $120 one from bestbuy. It's just a Windows 7 upgrade package. The full OS is about $300+
  21. I'd go with 2 cubes if you can fit it. That would net you way more powerful bass with the right tuning.
  22. Don't worry too much about phone radiation. Even the 5 bar phones on that site can't hurt you. I talked with someone a while back who explained it to me. It would take 1000+ phones all working at once right next to your head (literally within 2 or 3 feet) for the radiation to hurt you. And then you would have to be exposed to it for hours on end. That site actually tells you how ineffecient the phone is. The more bars, the less the effeciency.
  23. Yeah, 7 just an upgrade from Vista. You have to have Vista in order to use it.
  24. Cool. Let us know how it turns out.
