  1. It would just be a swap with your stock battery. And I wouldn't be looking at minimum necessary...if it were me, I would go with the biggest that you can fit. D3400 would supply your amps very well.
  2. Why not just get a good battery up front? D3400 or a D3100 if it will fit.
  3. You could just leave it off. If you super glue it, it will take a piece of your windshield off eventually.
  4. In most applications, capacitors are useless. If anything, they hurt your electrical. They put more stress on your alternator. Big 3. Good battery up front. Or a 2nd decent battery in the back. A new alternator would be ideal, but not 100% necessary. If/when you can afford it, I would get one. My $.02
  5. Lose the cap. Big 3. Good battery under hood. HO alternator.
  6. nvm I see you got it. Did you use the relay or move a pin?
  7. Yes, have a ground coming from the relay also. That's how I did mine. The video bypass is working fine...but I am getting a hiss through the speakers...don't know if it's related to the relay or not.
  8. Check out fecupe's tips & tricks thread or whatever its called. Lots to learn in there.

Got it for $111.99 Brand NEW in box I'm gonna try to install it in my truck (98 Expedition), but no one makes a Double DIN install kit for it. Does anyone have experience installing a double din in these trucks? What all modifications need to be made to make this bitch fit?
