  1. You could be getting ground noise through the RCA's due to all that messy wiring. Your ground needs to be to BARE metal. Use a self tapper and go DIRECTLY to the floor pan.
  2. Some where on here there is a GOOD tutorial on how to build a crate for shipping, Ill look for it.
  3. XS VCM FTW. Lets YOU decide what voltage you need and when.
  4. Pioneer TS-W308D4's. I never had the 308's but my first system was 4 TS-W306D4's which is the same thing but 2 years older. It was very loud for 4 50$ subs.
  5. Yea. Should work out fine. I didn't fuse my big 3 but i think about it all the time and I really might fuse it LOL.
  6. Larger wire running directly to and from your alternator. The larger wire has less Resistance which in turn makes your alternator more efficient. Helps with dimming lights and such with smaller systems, If you have a BIG system don't expect this upgrade to fix your voltage issues. For that you need a High-output alternator and some batteries.
  7. EVEN IF the amp has a fuse inside I always fuse it anyways, and no matter what EVERY Positive wire the comes off the POSITIVE battery post MUST be fused.
  8. so how about that MI meet? we really need to set it up. A cook out or something...

  9. Yea thats def. gold. I think tan/brown would look better, just my opinion though, If you like it run it
  10. not a bad setup, I would still get a Video Card though. Takes the rendering stress off you CPU/RAM.
  11. DONT USE THE BRACKET. Very thoroughly Scrape all the paint of the floor pan in convenient area for you. The most important thing is that the point of contact is very clean and shiny. Than use a self taping sheet metal screw of the proper size for the ring terminal and shoot it in to the sheet metal. Be careful not to strip your hole.
  12. there should be a bolt on the top rear of your alt. It may just be a threaded hole of you font have the thin sheet metal cover. I have used that location SEVERAL times on the 4.3L/5.7L engine and it works great. Clean all that corrosion off first.
