  1. It looks new...has it ever been run? what does the birthsheet say for rms at 2ohm?
  2. This one http://www.compositescanada.com/product.php?idProduct=122 The fillers you linked are way off for what you're trying to do. You want a finishing/body filler not filler to add to resin to thicken it which is what you have linked^^ in ur last link. All that stuff is (dry) powder or (dry) chopped mat that you add to resin to thicken it into more of a paste, but you want somethign that will sand easier than that. strike that.... here https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/p-10290-12...WID=22410817522 https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/c-499-body-fillers.aspx http://www.evercoat.com/productDetail.aspx?pID=146
  3. --> QUOTE(Eric B @ Feb 25 2008, 06:59 PM) 263003[/snapback] well im member 916 hahacongrats on the 10k <---Jealous.
  4. Agreed but hindsight is 20/20. Make room for it in the rear deck (I have seen 18's in the rear deck of impalas and caprices more than twice) Build the box up into the area under the rear deck with the double baffle where the sub will mount replacing the rear deck and build (fiberglass) or "step down" the box back into the tunk until it's flat enough to finish the box in MDF. Ditch the spare tire too. It'd be impossible to steal this^^ kind box w/ out taking the whole car thats for sure
  5. Hahahhahaha congrats I guess. Sidenote...I thought this was pretty cool.... Who's the dork now, jajajjajajjajjajaa
  6. Well start takin notes any time now bro...he's kinda puttin on a clinic for ya....not to mention the good 'ol Fiberglass & Fabrication section here on smd.
  7. Thnx David. I KNEW the real story was out there & would surface. One of them "too good to be true" kinda things....If you consider THAT^^ good hahahaha. Bling Blang Blong y'all! 'knaw'm say'n?

  9. If you're not affraid to GLASS it....I'd do a cool fiberglass mount between the seats...a kinda "bent arm" that swoops out between the seats and allows the amp to sit flat but an an angle similer to the seats but "just in front" and just flare out the edges to make room to mount the T1K....then you could run your wires through the center shaft/mounting "arm" ...Ill see if I can find a pic of what I mean and post it....I know have a pic like that saved on my pc although it was for a 13" (or so) monitor.
  10. I really hope you're gonna do something to seal off the 6x9's from the subs and not let them play in the same chambr
  11. I have a pair of possibly 1 coil blown type R 10s....? I havn't had time to test em but how much are are you offering for em or did you just want them for free?
  12. Looks like nice clean work. Did you do anything to combat the RATTLE?....2-15's trapped in a trunk...ouch. Cut the rear deck open to relieve pressure? Blow through behind the seats? Or just deaden the hell outta the trunk?
  13. I can't find em homes.... I wanted to play with these too :mad: I can't really justify buying more orphan subs when I already have so many.... They are still avail for anyone wanting em and damn thats a steal of a price! BUMP, for the one that got away.
  14. Yep.....buncha looky-lous. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif Looks great all vinyled up man. I like how you did the wrap around trim panels at the bottom, and made a clean break around the port...I see lots of folks having trouble there so great job. Just gotta get them last amp cover parts vinyled too. But it looks pimp. Now we need numbers and vids.
  15. Holy shit dude! Thats awsome. ygpm.
  16. $175+shipping is for 1 sub or all 3?
  17. There is a thread dealing with this...but it doesn't say "you should..." OR "you shouldn't"... It got stickied/pinned cuz I explained what you need to take into consideration when mixing subs....it CAN be done, and done WELL. But it's a gamble. So test with both sets of subs and with each pair indiviually...& be ready to rebuild it just in case it sounds "not so great". That's all.
  18. Doors are def lookin sick. Excellent work with jammin that many mids in a not so big area and keepin it classy lookin. I'm sure them doors are gonna sound NUTS....and they better to keep up w/ the low end in that thing. Keep it up meng, it looks like it might be comin to an end and you guys can start the "Mobile demo" assault on Sactown. Gotta bring it by my shop some time, hehe.
