I have always ran 12's because they don't need a whole lot of space. If space isn't an issue then really any size will due, just need a musical box.

Just sold the setup in my sig so i can upgrade. I am looking for either 2 - 15's or 1 - 18 that will like roughly 1000 watts RMS trying to spend 150 on the sub(s) and maybe 200 on the amp. Let me know whose got stuff for sale or an suggestions you may have. Thank guys.

yup 210 is san antonio and I know 2 SMD'ers that live semi close. Now 3 cause austin isn't to far like 45mins or so. The birch at the lowes near me is 3/4" cabinet grade.

Yea it opens up Feb. 27th. I already did orientation and all that. Not real sure but i don't think birch is much more, I've just heard bad stories about MDF dust and people getting sick. EDIT: Looked up some prices at lowes and it looks like birch is about $10 more a sheet
