    nice we were doing fireworks on the fourth and we had two mortars dud out in a row. They just stayed in the tube and glowed and blew. My girlfriend was like "run", and everyone else just stood there and watched. We might have been a little fucked up that night though.

    with that power get daily, cooling, and flatwind. Also if you think you will change coil configuration (dual 2 to dual 1 or vice versa) get the universal option.

    man make sure you have a decent pre amp output. It should hopefully be around 4 volts....any less and you will start to have to put the gain up mad high to get the same amount of power. I had a similar problem and I found a place on my head unit (subw setting) that could raise and when I tuned it to that setting on full I gained approx 3-4dbs.

    I hit 144 on music and let me tell you, it's plenty loud. If 150 is your goal with that equipment, it will probably need to be pretty much pure spl and really really well installed.

    Lol, anyone else agree that those roadmaster walmart speakers off of the head unit sounded pretty good until they blew? I know that's a little off topic but all I did when I was a newb was keep blowing those things and putting more in. I knew I was supposed to pay attention to watts and ohms but it said 150 peak watts and I was to lazy to learn how to work ohms into the equation. Thank god for SMD

    I heard cold turkey and staying strong is the best way...try to do it when you get out of your normal environment, like a vacation. If you are distracted you shouldn't need to do it. Keep busy and don't let yourself get bored enough for a smoke break.

    word on the girlfriends....they are fuckin evil! and thats why I said try to just talk to her parents. Just tell em you fucked up and you want to try and make it up to her. MOST of the time as long as they liked you at first then they will still like you, and probably have been through their own similar situation and will help. Crazy but true.
