    sounds good, thanks for all the info guys. If I just got a big alt and a decent size battery like that redtop in the front do you think that would suffice as long as Im not running it too hard? plan on running the rd 3250 v2 at .5 or 1ohm depending on the sub I get.

    Yea I figured I would need both. So one without the other is kind of useless? Are there any good deals on batteries or alts at the moment? I'm thinking maybe buying used batteries but unsure as to what alt to get.

    Voltage dropped tremendously off of 3k watts on stock alt, maybe a hair under 12. It runs 1200 watts with barely any drop at all. What would be more worth while, new 250+ amp alt? or a BIG battery in the back. I understand my alt is going to need to charge this battery. would a new alt keep it at least in the teens? I plan on gettin some of both soon but what would be a good start so I could at least run it for a little while. Advice please

    Does this setup sound weird to anyone else? well I have an 18 lvl 4 w/ lvl 5 coils and it beats hard. Do you want 1 or 2 subs?

    Looks like my boy tehbert0s setup. He has 2 of these massives on 2 nightshade 3k 18's. They are def some quality amps from what I've seen. good luck with your build man.

    Knukonceptz is top of the line wire for sure man. If thats your price range then you have just enough for 20 ft of 1/0 from them. Just got mine today and it is verryy thick and nice quality. good luck

    I would just stay close to what DC says is its required size. Cant really go wrong there. Someone you know has to know how to build a decent box or you should at least attempt it yourself.

    Yea just get a 1ohm stable amp, easy as pie. shouldnt have a problem with overheating unless its not meant to run at 1ohm.
