Just cause someone on YouTube can do it doesn't mean you can. I run a set of sa12s on a bc2k. Can't see much more coming from these things. Nice subs but your box will need to be designed around everything else. I'm not saying it can't be done just be careful if you want your stuff to last.

my ap1500 amp works great for me. Unsure of what exactly its putting out but its pretty powerful and small in size. My sundown 1500 blows it away for sure but for the price difference i would suggest audiopipe to anyone on a budget. I push the hell out of my amp at 1 ohm for long periods of time and have no complaints. if your on a budget audiopipe might just be for you

you havent given any good information.. this thread should be deleted like a vs thread. How much power are you going to run? how much space do you have to do this? Is there a budget? Give a good idea of what you expect to accomplish with this system. I cant see you going for SQ, so be real.

i bought these from lowes.. cut it no problem and there sharp so if you pinch down on the wire and twist around it you can cut the jacket off no problem.

not sure the mileage this vehicle gets but im gettin one! 2006 or so Trailblazer SS.. it has to get better gas mileage than my 97 tahoe and should be able to stuff 2 18's back there sure you could get the base model without the 400HP motor to help with gas

The FI Q's are badass, but on a 30 day build time right now I believe. Worth that wait if your not in a big rush. just incase you didnt see the flashing bold red text on their website on the Q's.

I bought my kinetik's from amazon.. free shipping on some of them as well. price beats most, including audiosavings.

CCA isnt horrible, if your planning on doing a huge system its not recommended, but for something not too large it will work, ive used it several times with no issues on systems at about 1500watts or so. Knukonceptz CCA is do able, but if you have the extra money go with the ones mentioned above.

let me give you more info on how mine acts.. stop lights.. stop signs.. all drop the gauge real low. It irritates the shit out of me to see it drop so low at every damn stop. Out of my entire system its what I regret the most.

ive had one on my tahoe for almost a year, hasnt went bad but it sucks. idle voltage is garbage. If you dont mind stepping on the gas to keep your voltage up go ahead and buy it.. i personally wouldnt spend another penny with that company, ill go DC on my next alt.

sounds like a waste of a wall right there. you can just put that in a box in the back and save yourself alot of trouble..

not exactly it doesnt. You need an amp that makes its power at a 2 ohm load now. i dont think since your new to this you should plan on a .5ohm system. you want an amp that makes the power you need at 2 ohms.

Just got the sa-12 in the s10. lol... no question im happier with the sa-12. Both subs were used in their recommended enclosures. Its my first sundown subwoofer purchase and to be honest you guys had me nervous that i made the wrong decision.. but i dont think I did. For a driver rated at 600rms compaired to the treo at 2000 I questioned how I thought I was going to do any better, boy was that wrong. Sa-12 is smooth as hell and hits nice and deep, not peaky as hell like the treo. Treo is a decent driver for sure, but im happy I made the change no question about it. china made, 2.5 coil.. whatever, lol. very happy.

Probably never recone it, but I was curious what it would cost and it was more than i expected.

Didnt really put much thought into it cause it still works. But i bought it used so I was curious what it would cost to freshen it up. If i ever blow it who knows. Its got 1500 watts on it.. underpowered a little bit but it has some crazy excursion.. still not impressed though. Box is to their listed specs. real peaky
