  1. ok thanks you guys thats i want to know now i have new build coming up soon i wand to get the cleanest amout of power of the amp for the subs i few ideas what subs i should go for or i should wait a little longer and get a bigger amp and run the right ohm load
  2. dose box rise also affect music say if i run .5 ohm on music will i be ok with the box rise the amp will be RF 1000-db its 1 ohm im going to have a mechman 220 alt and 4 runs of 1/0 as of now i have hc2000 in the rear and the hc600 up front i know i should get a bigger battery for the front that will be change out asap and hopefully get more batteries when i have more cash what so my question is will the box rise affect on daily music

  5. i decided to run the amp for my 4 dc 8's now and the rest of the system i want to make it clean im getting ready to do a rebuild soon i have a pair of t3 15's and 2 dc 8's so im decided to do the 8's now since i have 2 of them now and going to order 2 more soon and get the amp im trying to get all the info on the amp before i get it

  12. for power your brother is correct. Solid is better. IT's also a gigantic pain in the ass to run the wire. Since poewr in cars is DC you do not need to worry about skin effect, because there isn't any. That only comes in to play with AC, and even then only at high frequency. I'd rather run solid copper buss bars than the stranded stuff we have available to us. thanks for the info their is still a lot to learn thank you all for all the info
  13. Serious question requires serious reply. well what did you contribute to this thread? think of it this way. What place would buss bars have in car audio if stranded wire was better. so both wire is ok to use
