  1. not really for the most part, my plans are to grab a pair of the 2500 v.2s when their out in a couple months
  2. they are dual 2s sorry, guess itll help to put that in the first post lol, and they were built by jacob himself, not brandon at sundown or anyone else.
  3. lol no, maybe if you added about 350 cash and paid shipping on both
  4. 1. Product: 2x Sundown Audio Z12s dual 2s. V.2 Motors (Derrick Haddock's old motors) with V.3 Spider pack (dual inter woven leads per terminal) With Nightshade cone/coil/surround and Full Cone dustcaps. also have the large input terminals (will house 8g easily, even 4 gauge) 2. Specs: 12", built @ 2000w RMS IIRC, will handle a lot more lol, still VERY stiff from my [email protected] (daily) 3. Description/Condition: used but in great condition, never seen clipped/distorted power, can still see the coppery coils 4. Price: 550+ shipping for the pair 5. Pictures: not the highest quality pics due to flash, dark rooms ftl ignore the "d1" must have been from when they were originally built for derrick from jacob:
  5. 1. Product: Sundown SAZ-3500D 2. Specs: 3500w @ 1 3. Description/Condition: used, but in great condition, 1 scratch on front (see pics) and course your average knicks on mounting feet. runs great, had it wired to .5 since march of 2011, never saw protect on it once never cut out, ALWAYS saw great electrical (in sig) always saw 13.4+ for the most part, and still have 8 months full warranty on it(transferable), also have original packaging for it as well. missing 1 speaker input screw, no idea where it could have gone, only used 1 pos and 1 neg, when i took it out it was gone so no idea how long its been gone lmao 4. Price: 675 + shipping 5. Pictures:
  6. 1. Product: DC Power 2.2L Ecotec 270a XP alt. THIS WILL FIT ANY AND ALL 2.2L ECOTEC MOTORS, ANY PONTIACS, CHEVYS, SATURNS, ECT. (used in my 2002 pontiac grand am, same exact casing as my friends mechman 270a unit for his ecotec) if you have a 2.2l ecotec motor regardless of make/model this WILL fit your vehicle! i belive it will ALSO fit 2.4, PM me if you are wondering and i will find out exactly for you. 2. Specs: link below, not the EXACT alt and specs: https://www.dcpowerinc.com/fit/2008~Chevrolet~Cobalt~2.2L-Ecotec/11140-270-xp.html mine doesnt say "dc power engineering" on the pulley these are the NEW model of the 2.2l ecotec above, i have one of the first XP lines made for this. specs arent 100% the same. IIRC it was a bit over 270 @ 2100rpm, and about 145 @ idle (800 rpm) from what DC said to me when i got this. also, this alt does NOT allow external regulation as ALL ecotecs are PCM controlled. 3. Description/Condition: its used, but works just as it did the second i put it in. charged my xs s3400 and xs d2700 very well, kept up with my setup @ .5 for over the year ive had it like that plug is cracked, its missing the "tab" that holds the factory harness in. comes loose but i just took a bead of CA to hold it in, held great for the last like 10 months since i did it, pic/info on it is below 4. Price: 300 shipped/insured. 5. Pictures: here's the plug i was talking about: it just doesnt have the "tab" that holds the factory harness in anymore, it broke off a few months ago, i just ran a bead of glue around the outter tab of the harness and it kept it there. you can even buy a new harness from local shop (15-20$) get it in place and glue it, and wire it into the OEM harness so you dont need to do it to the factory one, but either works also heres pics from when i first got the alt
  7. Their weak, my friends a service technician in a local Toyota/scion dealership, said they are little turds, nice lookin but doesn't make up for the under the hood loss.
  8. honestly IMO, you'll want more power, they get loud but my Zs ive had for a year now and on my 3500 @ .5 they are still super stiff and want more sell you my Zs if you want lol
  9. I personAlly would vote 3.25-3.5 cubes, 3.25 being minimum, 15-16" of port area per cube around 33hz and call it a day
  10. 4 cubes honestly is ideal as their recommended is 1.75-2.25, some people have gone as large as 2.5 per woofer my best box was 4.4 cubes with a single 6" aero, killed the lows, built one for my buddy that was 4.2 cubes, 12.2" of port tuned to 33hz and plays musically fully down to about 25hz or so. For your buddies box how come you wnt for 12 inches of port? what would have happened if you went with say 16 inches of port. Sorry for the thread jack just interested in the box specs for these. i went with 12" of port because thats the recommended specs for those subs
  11. never used a prefab box, never will also that e12dtv box isnt close to 4 cubes, its 3.9 gross before any port or woofer displacment, in all reality that box is 1.25 cubes per chamber.
  12. just free air that shit on about 25hz for a few min and you'll be good to go
  13. 4 cubes honestly is ideal as their recommended is 1.75-2.25, some people have gone as large as 2.5 per woofer my best box was 4.4 cubes with a single 6" aero, killed the lows, built one for my buddy that was 4.2 cubes, 12.2" of port tuned to 33hz and plays musically fully down to about 25hz or so.
  14. need a little more airspace and a little less port area and it'll be a good box but i can assure you no hifonics amp has sundown internals, and the subs love sharing the same chamber
  15. Figures this would happen a week after I received the alt I ordered lol, any consolation?
