  1. i wish my shop would take XS power lol, their too cheap though and we dont have the consumer base for it, we dont really get hit with people who wanna do big builds customers just dont wanna shell out that much money in my area on top of what we already charge
  2. for anyone wondering, these subs are fucking LOUD. even though nick was hit with a malfunction, the little he demo'd for it was killer, defiantly hits you hard, was pretty violent and i have sat in some violent setups in the past and this was no different... thanks for the demo! too bad i think i was one of(if not the only) ones to get a demo yesterday lol brandon's was just nasty as well, his shits the lows out like nothing!
  3. ive got an aq1200d, im sure you wont have a tough time finding a matching one and a 4x90
  4. 1. Product: XS Power iBar 551 AND 555/587 551 link: http://4xspower.com/shop/terminals/551-i-bar-side-and-top-terminal-adaptor/ 555 link: http://4xspower.com/shop/terminals/555-i-bar-multi-top-post-and-side-terminal-adaptor/ Both sets WILL come with a pair of the Top Post adapters 2. Specs: above^ 3. Description/Condition: the 551 was used for about 8 months before i upgraded fully to the ibar 554. positive (red) has a small crack, nothing that'll possibly stop it from doing its job the 555 is brand new, never used HOWEVER the 3rd input bolts that hold it in fell out, i purchased a new one but i ended up just getting the 554 instead as i favored the wingnuts. the fix for the 3rd nut that holds should be simple as it can be soldered in, or threadlocked/loctited in, it will hold now just comes loose over time -the 555 comes with the 587 terminals (for the 3rd input) link: http://4xspower.com/shop/terminals/587/ i do have an extra set of these(only one): http://4xspower.com/shop/terminals/590-38-2-stud-adaptors/ -which i can include with either set for an additional 8$ they will work with either ibar, as they are the ones that bolt into the battery terminal 4. Price: price for 551 = 15 shipped, with 590 wingnuts = 23 shipped price for 555 w/ 587 terminals = 27 shipped, with 590 wingnuts = 35 shipped (you will still get the 587 terminals as well) everything = 50 shipped 5. 5. sell whats in the car, sell what you have laying around buy what you are looking at (the 2 sundowns) on that amp (can even step up to about a 2k) get some deadener, a 4 channel amp (i have one in the FS section actually) a decent set of components up front, something for rear fill in the back, some solid wiring along with big three (maybe a small battt) and your good to go
  6. this was originally powering a 6.5" RE XXX set active for about a year it isnt the best for an active setup to run off just the amps EQ, however an external source for EQing/processing you'd benefit from a ton whether its built into the headunit or from an external source
  7. There's not a lack of competitors there's a lack of competitions. Lol Edit for spelling in previous years we've had shows in roc, batavia, wayland, tonawonda, seneca falls, ect. and such and just have had poor turnouts all around in those areas. only real competitors we have out in that way is team 808 (which are the ones hosting the show in batavia this weekend) we're even all the way up as far as canada as well. Really? When I'm working on my car I hear at least 10-20 cars with systems go by an hour. I guess they don't care about competing or just don't know about comps. Please pm me some info about the show this weekend I not sure if I can make it but I'd love to go to a comp, get metered, maybe get a demo or 2, and meet some fellow bass heads Hardcor Audio 2x Event For More Event information Please Contact: Keith Mutka - [email protected] or Cory @ Hardcor Audio - (585) 343-1530 Judge: Jody Allport June 2nd, 2012 -> Saturday Registration: 10 am Start Time: 11 am 5009 East Main Street Batavia, NY
