  1. Hook the amp up first with only power wired connected. If no protect then try with RCAs. If no protect then add a single speaker, not using the box and terminals, just wired directly. If it's ok, then test each sub independently.
  2. can you get it to turn on with only power/ground/remote connected and not go into protect? (no RCA or speaker wires connected)
  3. Dude I swear that shit happened to me once with my 360.2 too. Weirded me the fuck out.
  4. Got mine installed. It's a lot of overkill, especially considering my battery is an XS D6500, and under 2k watts total. However, voltage drop seems to be very minimal, if any. I'm ok with that!
  5. Well I accidentally deleted my post, but I just got my notification for shipping!!
  6. Do like Orion said. Start at the headunit and work your way back. Use the 0db tracks until you get to your amp.
  7. I'd say so, especially with showtime electronics 15% off right now...man I really appreciate your help, thank you!
  8. Just to make sure before I order, the D6500 is the right battery for an underwood starting battery right?
  9. Man, I'm not trying to be an ass here, I promise! But you are about to ask the manufacturer if that size works well, when they recommended it in the first place. What exactly are you expecting them to tell you? If you want to know how good they sound in a particular size enclosure then you HAVE to consider the port, other wise the comparison is pointless. I'm just trying to help you out here. I can read very well but you are just not considering everything you need to consider. However, I will stop trying to help, I apologize for taking time to help you.
  10. then you should ask about their ports as well. If the ports aren't the same then comparing box sizes is useless.
  11. So are you just looking for a list of people that have a certain box size? I don't want to get off topic but maybe I'm not sure what the topic is.
  12. like I said I'm not the person to offer much in the advice of port design, but I'm pretty sure you can't just use a per square foot formula to figure out port area. That seems to ignore lots of variables.
  13. I'm not great at ports but that seems a little low for port area. Hopefully someone that knows their stuff can help out a bit more. I had 2 lvl 4 12s with a single 8" aero and it wasn't nearly enough. Different subs I know, but still.
  14. If that's what they recommend then it should work. What's your plan for the port?
