    The 2000w/3000w ratings on those amps are just a cheap marketing ploy... But those are very good amps and will do their rated power (1000w/1500w).

    If the coils are still reading fine then I'd suggest tearing it down yourself and see if u can figure out wht happened. Then recone it yourself if u know how to or send it out to be reconed. If anything shifted then you'd need to send it off to somewhere like FI for it to be fixed, rather than a standard recone.

    I played violin in fourth grade if that counts lol... I played guitar for almost 10 years though and just lost the drive to play anymore when I moved down here, acoustic mostly.

    Pure spelling fail with the title and subtitle (it says - altenater qeustion and help, I am wandering about this) - altenater = alternator(correct spelling)... qeustion = question(correct)... wandering = wondering(correct). I've just always had an issue with incorrectly spelt words and poor grammar, so don't take it personal.

    Well maybe you should have been made it clear to the seller that u didn't want signature required then... It's there policy regardless if u leave a note or not. Hell they don't know if some random person left the note, just so they can steal it. Happens all the time and I doubt the UPS driver is gonna risk his job just so u can have ur package delivered against their policy.

    Isolator is not needed as mentioned before, just remember to fuse properly and you'll be fine.

    With those amps and bad setupI'd run something like a Kinetik 1400 or similar under hood, 3-4 big batts in back and an HO alt. Lots of good batt companies out there, so just compare sizes and pricing from each one(Kinetik, XS, Northstar, Deka, etc). If you could find sum of the big C&D batts that are always floating around for cheap, then I'd suggest going that route to save sum $$.

    What you said is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head... So they aren't saved on your compu and just on your myspace?? It's late here and I'm just trying to get everything straight to try and come up with sum options for ya.

    What sort of air bag setup and what amp(s) are you gonna be running?? I understand that you don't wanna spend a ton of $$ but for stuff like this you really don't wanna skimp out. Really putting your vehicle and products at risk with low voltage if you do.

    Good luck running voltage that high on a Bxi amp unless u figure out sum way of modifying them to handle it... Hell i wouldn't even suggest 15.3 on one of them. How many/size alternators depends on what amps and batts you will be running. Confused with the "how much amp" question though. PM me with details so we can leave this thread for the OP.

    Door panels came out looking great and did get done at almost an alarmingly fast pace.

    That PPi amp is pretty badass and for the price you paid something like that can't be passed up.
