  1. I didn't post it this time. I'm not trying to say anything, I just posted a video and allowed others to make their owns observations.
  2. I WILL say this, the DD-1 sure did help me set my mids/highs! They sound great. And also, when I go it, I was SOOOOOO surprised at how well it's built.
  3. I'm not saying anything, just throwing this out there for people to draw their own conclusions.
  4. Wired directly to a JVC radio's speaker outputs. I guess I need to explain, amplifiers only output DC when they begin to clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8pkWD4_ieI&feature=youtu.be
  5. I happily agree to the terms 2001 PT Cruiser Limited Edition I am very happy to see you have a love for DD.
  6. As much current as you draw, you will need as many step Downs as needed to fully supply it.
  7. Run a true 16v system. Charge 18v and use the XS Power step down module to power the vehicle and smaller amps. Not to difficult.
  8. Your technically going from a 12v system to a 14v system not a 16v system.
  9. That's what I ended up doing. I posted all this in the middle of installing my new door speakers lol. soon as I sat for a second and thought about it I got it.
  10. Problem is. I cannot lowered the cross over enough to play 1,000Hz. Lowest it goes is 1,250 with a -6db slope.
  11. The tweeters are on completely different channels from the mids. I can set the mids. Active gives each speaker its own channel without passive crossover boxes.
  12. I am rewiring my front stage to run active. I cannot run 1,000Hz to my tweeters to use the DD-1. Am I just SOL on the tweets?
  13. Which Nexus device? I had the Nexus S and left it bone stock as I sold it within 3 days. I have a SGS II now. Fully rooted OC/UV. Running ICS4.0
  14. I will not be replacing them as I do not believe in rear fill. Lol Tuned a system for a friend of mine. I built his system while he was on the carrier and now he's back in town. I tuned it after he heard his for a while, he said it was noticeably louder and cleaner. :-)
  15. That's weird. Have you called DD about it?
  16. I wish you luck. With that budget you won't really get a good one. People want way to damn much for them.
  17. Just to start off, this was totally and 100% my fault. In no way is the DD-1 to blame. I got the DD-1 from a friend of mine to test out, I will be buying my own DD-1 once the CC-1 becomes available as I KNOW there will be a combo deal. Anyway, I was setting the gains on my SAX-100.4 and turn everything up to full power before distortion. Set my M3a and was done. Turned up the system and it sounded great! Played a song or two for a friend, he confirmed it sounded better. Middle of song 3, I smell something weird, then the rear speakers just stopped and I saw the smoke. I was like , as I had forgotten to back the rear gain down as I still have stocks back there and they are only like 5 1/4". So thanks to the DD-1 making my signal clean, they at least died from over power and not distortion. lol I will be making a full video tomorrow on me setting the gains again, and saying what I think about the DD-1. So far, a great product that I CANNOT wait to own.
  18. In 1996 Ford painted a very limited number of Cobras and Ford Taura SHO's in a color called Mystic, which was chameleon paint. For a full color change it will cost between $5k-10k Also some 98 GT's and Cobras. Where my GF's cane from. And then again in 03-04 for the Termi only. Paint is called Chromystic.
  19. if your talkin to me i still think the 1250 or whatever would be better cause he could just back the amp off than the t1000 that won't give him the power he needs at 3 ohms I wasn't talking to anyone in particular. But, ever seen a W7 on a true 1,000? It doesn't like it very much. Lol
  20. People, please read a little better. T1500bdcp is rated 1,000wrms at 4ohm..... http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?item_id=117365&locale=en_US&p_status=
  21. My girl has it on her Mustang. Its sick. After market is $8,000-$10,000 round here.
