Very like new M4a 1300 shipped
bassahaulic replied to sactownstang's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
Trade a M3a and a 9518z? lol -
I have owned all but the iPhone 4 and 4S now. After the 3Gs I went to a Galaxy S, SO much better. I cannot even put into words how much better Android is, to me, over iOS. I recently waited to October 4th to get a new phone, to give Apple a fair chance at getting my money. And they failed hard, as usual, and I now have a Galaxy S II. Which, from what I can tell will crush the iPhone 4s into the ground. Galaxy S II has a Dual Core 1.2Ghz CPU while the iPhone a 1Ghz Dual Core. 512mb of Ram on the iPhone 4s, while the Galaxy S II has a full gig of RAM. 3.5" screen on the iPhone 4s as compared to the 4.3" on the Galaxy S II.

12v or 14v or 16v?
bassahaulic replied to STScolorado's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
the Kinetiks' have a 12v side built on, just use that for the truck. Alternator should be fine charging @18v daily, I know a few people who do so. -
Do I need a capacitor?
bassahaulic replied to GTOguy's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
No, a small secondary battery would do much more for you then a capacitor ever could. Look into the smaller XS Power or Kinetik batteries. -
All A series DD amps will not function above 15.5v usually plus or minus .1v GLWS.

what amps run under 1000rms at 4 ohm and make good power at 1ohm?
bassahaulic replied to splcb7's topic in Amplifiers
Just because an amp is "rated" at something doesn't mean anything, like that MA probably does not do what it's rated. And all the amps I listed do well over what their rated if you have the proper setup. -
oh damn lol but yeah i know there is so many options i just cant decide. i want a 150 so bad lol Oh so you do wanna compete. lol Ok, this is what I would do if I were you. I would keep the SAZ-3000, get 2 DD3515 Supercharged Dual 2's, a badass box design, build up the electrical nice and strong and run .5ohm. oh that sounds lovely It does to me as well.

Well you already got the power then. lol There are so many different ways you could go about this to be honest and each person will say something different. 1: What are some brands you like? 2: What kind of music do you listen to? 3: How much of the back of the truck are you willing to give up? 4: How good are your build skills? 5: Where do you live?

bassahaulic replied to splcb7's topic in Amplifiers
Oh.... hmmmm Since you can only get down to .5ohm you might be best off finding two amps that do 500rms each at 4ohm and running them strapped at .25 each for SPL only. Or, if your series about this and you only want one amp you should get different woofers with the ability to go to a lower ohm load. .33 or lower so you can really get some power flowing. If you can get low like that I'd reccomend an RD Audio D9, Sundown Audio SAZ-4500, Atomic 5000, or something along those lines. -
i love my town

I don't see the issue here. CLEARLY he wants some MEGA HEAD KNOCKIN SLAP when he gets in a wreck. -

db drive k9 subs versus other subs
bassahaulic replied to jojodancer's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
My GF ran them for 6 months on double the rated power and they were great! Loud, great accuracy, and durable for sure!!! -
This is not something we discuss here.
