Getting ready to upgrade, so i thought id ask..... would 4 level 3 15s be louder than 2 level 4 18s? Running 2500rms either way. What do you think??

I cant confirm the location of Memphis audio in the US but they are an american made product... At least to the best of my knowledge. If someone knows where they are located jump in.... Unless they have been bought out recently they have always been made in the us

No Steve your right on the money, they still sell things, but are not a big production shop. closer to a couple guys selling things out of a garage. Im not sure where to get one really i guess do some looking someone has to make one

Not trying to bring back an old thread but has anyone heard of Crystal component speakers? Id like to find some more of these component sets but i cant seem to find anyone that has them....any ideas?

thanks guys. Im not really sure what to do with it yet. It needs a few lil odds and ends to get it running. But my family is huge into cars and muscle cars/street rods so it shouldnt be hard to get things. My dad has two 67's, my grandpa has a 69 and a 70.5 So it shouldnt be too bad to get this thing all together. There is very little rust on her. Small amount in the trunk but the body and pans seem straight. Ill take some more detailed pics tomorrow. thanks for the comments guys!

heres the short version of a long story. My cousin who was like my best friend since birth past away a short time ago. His mom (my aunt) calls me this week and asks if i would be interested in taking "sweet Betsey" which was his car. I said of course lol. Anyways i feel very lucky to be inheriting this car, even thou it will not replace my lost cousin/best friend. But having something that was so close to him helps.....on with a pic for yas...... I've taken a few more pics im trying to get them loaded. Let me know what you guys think. Its a 68'. yes is was a true SS car but not the original engine lol She needs a little work, It needs a carb and the new radiator mounted and she'll be up and running

So i wanted to post up for this show coming up. Its not really a car audio show, however they are doing a trophy prizes and plaques. They will be running midwest spl rules. This show is held every year in Ozark Missouri to benefit the American Cancer Society. This is a mini truck style show. Its always a good event, cars girls and good food you cant go wrong. i agree, even if your boss amp is pushing 10k watts its the ugliest power you can imagine. Id change amps and be done. If that doesnt help, build a box also.....

I agree, i would just save that money and put it toward a new marker. If you want a reliable replacement without spending a ton of cash an ION is a good choice. But shop around you never know what kind of deal you may find....

lol ive got a ball bat. this is a little more protection. I think im gonna buy it. Looks like they are close to $180 new. this one comes with a box of shells and a case. Ehh what the hell.....

So im new to the gun deal. Wanting to get a shot gun for the home protection. Guy at work has a mossberg 88 12 gauge. Only had 30 shells through it. looks clean no scratches or anything. Offered it to me for $120. Just wondering if its worth it or not? Thanks guys any input would be helpful

You can use accumulators that will help a lot. You wont get as much travel out of the suspension if you run sway bars, but it will handle better. Honestly my hatch, before i put a ton of weight in the back of it, handled very well with cylinders. most imports i ride in dont ride very well. all i had done at the time is replace all the bushing with poly and had some custom upper arms on it. Anyways long story short as long as you run an 8 valve set up it shouldnt sway too badly

Agreed with the rest, Should never have any power running through the wires while you are hooking them up. Also there will always be a spark when the final power is connected...I've used a lot of AP amps and delt with there customer service, never had a problem with them. Take a minute man and relax, give it another try......

honestly sound like a ground issue, when the load is greater on the engine the alt surges. might be causing this? I used to have some radio wine, only when i let off the gas or down shifted. Added some grounds...problem solved. just an idea
