I have a buddy that trimmed down 4 ga wire for a remote wire.. Im pretty sure this is a fail, but he claims that this is the kind of wire you are supposed to use, should i post a facepalm picture on this thread

For Sure in the right box, electrical the BTL will be louder. The hifonics amp will get it moving but It can handle more tho if you ever wanted it to. The BTL can handle up to and more than 3000 rms daily easy. With the Hifonics amp it depends on the way you wire it to determine how much wattage is going to the btl, either 1 ohm, 2 ohm, etc.

A guy that put a set of speakers in, blew his set of old roadmaster speakers that went in the door. Well i replaced them with Fosgate 6.5s. And well they didnt play either what happened was when the speaker blew i guess it shorted out 3 inches of the wire coming from the HU. So i cut down and ran new and problem was fixed.

Never heard the Pheonix gold, but other than sixdogs1, i knew a guy that lived 30 minutes away from me, and i used to think he had 2 15's or something, the way it sounded outside of the car and inside was pretty loud for one 12". I used to think ALL lanzar subs were a piece of crap but not the Optidrives until i saw them in work Also remember this any sub can get loud. It has to be in the right setup/Enclosure is key

you can double them up where ever you want. Just as long as the final impedance is 1 ohm. the first sub and second should be doubled up if you are following the diagram

Alright man. you have 2 sets of terminals on each set of the subs right. Hook them up + to + on one sub. And - to - to another sub.then take another wire and then hook its + and - up to the sub and connect it the same way to the other subs wires.
