so my box volume seems ok ? i just screwd the port up? fosgate says 1.50-2.10 and i have 1.91

damn didnt see this response..... so take out the wood for the port put new face plate on and just install a round port kool atleast that will save some time and $

you are correct about the rock sounding good. if you click on my build link . post 15 you can see good pics of my boxes

probably should have just done a normal round port. just wanted to try a slot port once.

yes it 90's but i 45 them so that theeir is no sharp edges and yes ......its hits but it doesnt thump.

thought tuning was @ 40 but dont sound like it to the ear. port height and depth might be my screw up. first time i built a slot port. its at the end of the box so its height is the height of the box. the depth or lenght is 16" and makes a 45 degree turn 2" from the back wall of the box .

could someone pleeez help with my numbers. i already built my boxes but they dont seem to hit to low. i think i must have messed up somewhere. outside measurements. 3/4 mdf. fosgate P3 w/ .09 displacement. width=19" height=15" top depth=15" bottom depth=16" slot port port height= 15" port depth=16" port width=2" not sure but i think i didnt allow for the port area. ie the box is too small width should be 21"? thanx for all help or comments

i moved out went i was 18. went to a tech school instead of college. got my bachelors degree and of course never used it. at 20 yrs old went back to doing a job i had in high school. after 2 yrs i had enough of the bosses so at 22 with my first kid on the way i started my own business. i went to the clients i took care of and told them what i was doing , about 1/2 of them i told went with me. this summer will be my 19 yr. one of my clients told one time that the day you start working for yourself is the day you start fulfilling your dreams. the other thing i like to say is .... i thuought my 20's where the shiz...then my 30's but i never would have guessed that at 41 besides some aches and pains it JUST KEEPS GETTIN BETTER.
