Any alt that u get for that car as long as it fits ur bracket and plugs into ur clip will be better than a stock alt. If u want a different battery id go with a deep cycle battery or something along those lines. I use a Yellow Top Optima but other people run different im sure of that. In the end a better electrical system is always a plus.

dirty air filters, clogged fuel injectors, old spark plugs/wires, dirty or worn intake, missing or dry rotted vaccum line ( but usually u can tell by engine hesitation / sputtering) those can be some causes of loosing gas fast. oh and also under inflated tires can give u bad gas milage. clogged/old catalyst convertors too.

no i had an original 160 and it started making a clicking noise, but still works alright but the new 160 is half the size of that old heavy one so i thought id get a new one and save the old paper weight model for backup. if i had that much music i would open up a DJ service lol.

My buddy got the HDC3 18 and it says on the paper to break it in slowly. It also goes on to say in could take MONTHS for it to break in not just the oh 10-20hrs of time that it already does recommend to let it break in. so it could be that the sub wasnt broke in properly and thats why ur ripping shit.

Is ur LPF set on the deck or what? if it is try turning it up to the next 1 (ex. pioneers would be 63) cause if ur breaking it in some people do and some dont, break it in on a higher setting so then the lower notes start coming in and then u can start turning everything up and getting ur freq right. Then that thing will get low low and ull be able to tell when its broke in and adjust accordingly. IMO
