Thanks for the suggestions. Doesn't have to be straight SQ. Just something that was leaning more towards SQ than SPL. and they do cost a pretty penny. -
says they are rated for 350Wrms. Don't wanna ruin them.

I'm looking for suggestions of a subwoofer(s) that does well in a more SQ oriented set up besides a Fi Q or JL W7 or eD AV.2 Vehicle: Jeep Grand Cherokee Power: Saz-1500D Budget: $500ish Can either be a single woofer that will handle the full power well or multiple woofers you think will perform well on the split power.

They are awesome subs. I've heard 2 sa-12s on 300Wrms a piece and they sound amazing still. They are pretty conservatively rated but no one says you have to overpower them 600w a piece is till great for those. I put 2 sa-12s in a buddy's car on a aq1200 and they sound awesome and its definitely giving them some power. Very nice amps with a great price tag. -

This is semi relevant, But I work in the photo department at Walgreens and we have something called a Silver Recovery Unit (SRU) that is connected to our film processing machine. Believe it or not, Film has silver in it and when it's processed the machine extracts the silver and few other things and sends it to the SRU and it fills up a tank and when it gets full, they send us a new one and we send the full tank to a processing/recycling facility.

Yeah, They are plastic. Jacob had actually suggested this as an alternative to sending it in to him. Kind worried of screwing something up and poking a hole in the cone or something that wouldn't be covered. I have very unsteady hands. lol. I'll look into this though. it seems like the dust cap is mostly off around the edges around most of the way around so i can't imagine this would be too difficult.

The whole thing is just a little off centered and looks like it's coming off. Is there a way for me to safely pull it off to re glue it more centered?

No vids. The problem actually came back and it's actually the dust cap hitting the cone.

Yeah yeah. I see what you mean. My box is about 3 cubes and I'd have to do a new box eventually. How bout I actually finish this build and whatnot and then I upgrade to 15s 18s etc next summers. lol. S0 d4 Lvl 3 12s it is

because I just just got a box built for two twelves. like less than two weeks ago. I could do 2 lvl 4 12s underpowered until the box flexes apart and build a new one. But 2 15s are rather tempting as well. and i was just wondering the same question as OP btw.

I had a similar sound from a different brand sub and it just turned out the gasket didn't make a proper seal because one of the screws stripped out. But either way, pulling the sub out like kingsuv had mentioned will let you know whats up. .
