  1. I just checked it out, its peaking at 41hz...a little high. Yea it seemed quite a bit higher then some. Defiantly not the loudest on my system. I imagine if we got one slowed by Decaf to like 34 or 35 it would slam like hell! - GBS
  2. I didn't keep it down like others I just slammed it in my garage with my brand new iPad I bought today. Dope = the very first song on the new ipad so that was a good way to start it out. Here is a quick video. It defiantly needs to be slowed at least for me. I have a tuning of 30hz and it seemed a bit higher. Lets see some others! Merry Christmas Guys have a good one. - GBS
  3. Luckily no one was home yet. It makes the microwave in the kitchen rattle. It reverses the wooden blinds on the windows from up to down and it sounds like an earthquake inside. I love it! - GBS
  4. I plan on it soon. Maybe after Christmas. I need to upgrade my electrical a bit before I can go tossing another one of those in there. Maybe swap them out for the XL's as well. Might as well step it up to another level if I'm already gonna spend for one. Maybe the new Crescendo 3k and 2 xl 10's or 12's =) - GBS
  5. It's the plastic panels. They are deadened. Not alot I can do about it without removing them or finding metal panels and welding them in place. It used to be alot worse.
  6. Just took this video real quick as I got home and thought I'd share it. That trunk is almost completely deadened with expanding foam and 1-2 layers of Audio-wrap and SPL tiles. 1 12" DC Level 4 w/level 5 soft parts. Pretty sweet output if you ask me. Sound-Stream amp - 1200 watts rms or so sticking around 13.1 - 13.3 volts. Let me know what you guys think below. Most of the build with pictures of the car in this link! Click me for build! Thanks guys! - GBS
  7. DC for the win!!! Looks like it slams real hard! Nice choice on subs! I wish I had went with the XL now haha! I'm already looking for more.
  8. Spiders, Leads, Coils, Anything that is not the magnet or the basket. Correct my post if I'm wrong. Taking a good stab at it though. I have 1 Level 4 12" with the Level 5 Coils. I slams! Great woofer. DC FTMFW! - GBS
  9. What rank are you? Thank you for serving our country so that we can be free even through these hard times! - GBS
  10. HAHAHA with today's insurance premiums and everything else i would probably be better off buying a new trunk and everything else around it. This sub kicks ass man! Thanks! Gonna look for another one soon hopefully. Just gotta find the power and the money. - GBS Your going to break your car. Thats the fun part! I get to rebuild it a better more enhanced way then before. I have a goal of 150 with 2 12"s in the trunk. Just like alot of people haha. I just have a TON of work to get there.

  12. So once again DC Audio breaks more metal. These subs are just too damn sexy. 1 12" DC Level 4 with the Level 5 coils off about 1200 Watts RMS and it just snapped this metal like it was nothing. Pictures of before and after and a welding video. Hopefully this weld holds. Thank you DC Audio for breaking the trunk latch! I love it! Before: I wish DC Audio offered a trunk latch protection plan. DC AUDIO FTW!! - GBS
  13. x2! I'll pay extra for one right now if that gives you any hints Steve - GBS
  14. Fucking awesome video!! HAHAHA
  15. It does alright for a 12" that's for sure. I really wish I had my other car though. I put this sub in my dad's BMW. My timing belt snapped and bent my valves and fucked my head on my other BMW. Very sad. I had a ton of deadener put into that car. Now my dads car is like a rattle can. It really sucks! It has so much potential if I had like 50 sq ft of deadener haha!
  16. Enjoy! Sorry about the side ways orientation of the video. Damn iPhones.
  17. It's only a 12" sub man. DC recommends 1.5 cubes so actually its on the bigger side.
  18. Yea well it's not horrible for being an iPhone. It does great video quality just does not pick up the sound well at all! Hahah! Alright then. Any comments??
  19. Videos: Some may be still processing. I apologize for that. You'll just have to check back later. Description on the videos explain things and the power and box stuff. Enjoy. - Thank you DC! - GBS
  20. I've already started building a box. But maybe in the future if you wanna take a trip to Lubbock and help me with a wall that may be in order! Thanks for the offer. Maybe designs if you do those? -GBS It'll be here today! My car died Tuesday, engine is gone. So my friend is gonna come over and were gonna hook it up to a DD M1a amp today at 1 ohm. Hopefully that will get it going a little bit. I'll get some videos and pictures of it before it goes in the box!! Thanks for the kick ass customer service Rusty!! -GBS
  21. I'm waiting on a box!! Pictures are directly after that, then a drill and 8 screws and then videos!
  22. Just ordered myself a new DC Level 4 with the Level 5 Coils and leads and the extra stiff spiders and one medium spider. Should be here in 3 days or so. Red dust cap. Gonna throw around 1200 watts rms at it. Hopefully it will get a little louder and a little more violent then my single Alpine Type R 12". It's going in a 1.8 cubic box. 8 gauge wire to the subs. I'm really hoping it's as good as everyone says it is. If so I'll be upgrading my alt throwing some 0 gauge wire in there maybe a couple batteries and getting another 3 Level 4 12's with Level 5 Coils and building myself a wall. Maybe 3 more Stealth Series Soundstream Amps too. They are really tiny and seem to produce the power when I need it. I'll get pictures and videos when I get it. I'm really excited! Everyone over at DC was really easy to work with and the process of ordering was super easy!! So thank you for the great customer service. - GBS
