No I haven't decided if I am going to run 10's or 12s yet. More than likely I will be running a single 12. I still thought the q's were still 1000 watts rms. 2000 watts for the sub. roughly about 2500-3000 watts with mids and highs as well. my 320 amp mechman alt is almost completely paid for. The electrical will be up to par. Sorry for all the confusion. My car on a regular sealed lead acid battery and stock alt on 1300watts my lowest voltage was 13.7 at the amps. With no big 3 or anything else. Im kinda proud of that one.

To a point yes. This is where port size will help. More port = less punchy. Thank you!! Im shocked N8 hasn't been in here yet. The thing with the AQ's are the spiders. That why they have there special break in. Other than that like I said install and play.

The punchy not boomy thing is kinda hard to explain. Kinda like snappy bass if that makes sense. I listen to everything but mainly rock, metal, classic rock and a lot of the new emo kind of stuff. I want the subs to be accurate and detailed. Im talking about 500 over RMS sub back port back. I was also thinking about porting through the arm rest on my grand prix or rear deck. I haven't completely decided yet. if I port through read deck, my height will then consist of 18 inches instead of 16. Front stage will consist of HAT Legatia series components. don't worry about break in. If its an Aq sub then don't play them at full power for a couple of weeks like they say. Other than that break in does not exist.

oh don't worry my electrical will be more than up to par. This isn't my first rodeo. I really think that I am going to go with the FI Q

I know that. I have things in the works for my front stage. I haven't updated my build log in forever. Im probably going to go with Hybrid audio technologies with my front stage. I have been thinking the legatia or the legatia se would do on my front stage. I have also thrown the thought of the rockford t5's around as well.

Im also wanting something that is accurate that is going to have amazing control that wont get sloppy, and that will need to get down and do hard work when needed. For the most part I want an amazingly clean sub that has a lot of control that wont get muddy on me.
